Eight years ago this sounded like a prophecy. Now it looks more like a division of labor: superintelligence will finish the parts of the future that can be calculated, and people will be left with what cannot. Whom to trust, when to concede, when to stop after a mistake. The biggest effect will not be the intelligence itself, but who hands over their judgment first.
@thedankoe Ten years running a window business taught me this.
Nobody calls the owner who opens at 6am “disciplined.” They call him obsessed.
Two years later the business works, and suddenly it’s “discipline.”
Discipline is just obsession that got paid.
