So, the plan was I was going to finish up my replay of Xenoblade Chronicles 1 (Switch 2 edition) before I jumped into the now-available updated XC2. But 2 is my favorite in the series, and the temptation is too great. So putting 1 on hold while I reply it again. 😅
Idk how to articulate this but I like queer romance for the queerness, and some stories feel so straight to me.
Like the bottom is this tiny pretty but poor omega who marries a big strong rich alpha who provides for him & the fantasy is marrying rich & then having baby after baby
Once upon a time I had a physical copy of The Last Hope, but I lost my meager collection of ps3 games, including that one, when our basement flooded a couple of years ago.
Happy 30th anniversary to Star Ocean, a series that includes both the oldest game that I still own a physical copy of and my favorite game ever.
Said favorite is SO3, despite its (many) flaws. I desperately want them to do an updated version.
Last night’s far too malevolent-looking sunset. Now with extra billowing smoke. (Supposedly we’re getting a temporary reprieve later today, so let’s hope they’re right.)
We started the day with an AQI in the very unhealthy range (from smoke) and have since moved into hazardous. I could feel the burn in my lungs after going to check the mail. Yet my idiot father has been outside or in the sun room with windows open all day and just came in now.
We got about 2.5-2.75 inches of rain, and only the low point in the yard filled up. So I don't think the basement was ever close to flooding.
OR. My sacrifice was accepted.😅
(Seriously, it's just that last time the ground was still frozen. Still glad I don't have to clean up.)
Currently sacrificing my night's sleep in hopes that it will superstitiously ward off the basement flooding. "Logic" here being that if I sleep, I'll definitely wake up to water on the floor, but if I don't, my effort will have been for naught.
Happily, the back yard wasn't underwater last time I went up to check, and I don't know what the new sump pump sounds like when it doesn't stop running, but I don't think it's there yet. So I THINK I'm safe, but we're currently in one last round of storms.
Without physical games:
- Midnight launches are dead
- Collectors Editions lose half of their value
- You can’t share, trade, or sell your games
- You can’t buy used games
- If there’s a server outage, you’re shit out of luck
- YOU OWN NOTHING
It's 2029
You just bought a PS6
It cost 1200 dollars
All games are digital
They each cost 80 dollars
You have 4 in your library
Yesterday it was 5 but Sony removed one
They offered no refund, its just gone
You'd strangle yourself with the controller cord but its wireless
Adventures of Elliot was a fun game. I have some quibbles with the true final boss fight (...stupid flying section), but I enjoyed the experience in general. Enough to platinum it. In a week and a half. (Not that this one was a difficult platinum trophy, but I still did do it.)
