I feel a strong sense of responsibility toward the Pi Network community because I have been one of its main advocates over the years.
We will give the Pi Core Team @PiCoreTeam until the end of August to deliver significant progress on Pi Network.
As I have said before, what the Pi Core Team @PiCoreTeam has achieved so far feels like 2 years’ worth of work stretched over 7 years.
The Pi community deserves clear answers on the following:
1. Updated Whitepaper and Roadmap
There is still no clear timeline. The community is tired of guessing Pi Network’s goals, direction, and long-term vision.
2. Clear Tokenomics Explanation
The circulating supply is around 11 billion Pi, with an effective total supply of around 17 billion Pi. The current price is around $0.098, while close to 83 billion Pi remains.
What is the plan for this large remaining supply? What burn mechanisms will be introduced?
3. Blockchain Protocol Upgrade to V26
The V26 upgrade was expected in mid-June. We are now in July, yet Pi Network is still stuck on Version 24. Why the delay?
4. The Promised 100 DApps
The Pi Core Team promised 100 DApps by 2024. Two years later, we only have a few community DApps and no serious, highly engaging ecosystem. Where are the promised 100 DApps?
5. Community DApp Funding and Support
Over the past 7 years, the majority of the Pi Network community has gained very little from Pi Network.
Where is the funding for community DApps? Where is the influencer programme? I have not heard of a single community member receiving meaningful support to build DApps.
Instead, I have heard many stories from Pi Network DApp builders who abandoned their projects because they could no longer cover operational costs.
So where is the promised $100 million fund going?
The Pi Network community is one of the most dedicated and loyal communities in crypto. Yet the Pi Core Team continues to treat the community like a liability instead of its greatest asset.
The community deserves answers and solid progress from the Pi Core Team by the end of August.
Share this post and tag the Pi Core Team. If this goes viral, it can attract media attention. If it attracts media attention, the Core Team may finally wake up from their comfort zone and deliver.

As the new year starts, it’s time to build! Pi Network has released a new developer library that enables Pi payments to be integrated into Pi apps in under ten minutes. The library combines the Pi SDK and backend APIs into a single setup, reducing integration time across common stacks. https://t.co/Ws5eywwGdW
By simplifying payment integration, developers can instead spend more time creating and improving actual products for users, aligning with Pi’s longer term strategy to strengthen and expand Pi’s utility-driven ecosystem. Learn more and check out the documentation and demo videos explaining how to use the library.
As 2025 comes to a close, Pi remains focused on steady progress, responsible building, and long-term utility creation. Thank you to all Pioneers for being part of the journey, and happy new year! https://t.co/EX3YNdSlt1

Pi is thrilled to announce the winners of Pi Hackathon 2025—the first hackathon after Open Network launch!
Winning apps created meaningful use cases that promote the engagement, accessibility, and utility of Pi. With over 215 Mainnet app submissions, Pi Hackathon 2025 demonstrated developers’ clear motivation to build utility-oriented, production-ready apps on the Pi Mainnet.

Watch Pi’s latest video that showcases Pioneers engaging with local commerce in the first PiFest after Open Network, highlighting the global and practical utility of Pi! Images were shared by Pioneers on the #PiFest channel in Fireside Forum, Pi’s Web3 social media app. With the full support of Open Network’s external connectivity, continue engaging with local merchants that accept Pi!
Pi Network is adding email-based two-factor authentication to the overall account management and verification. https://t.co/mppVnNAmqP
This change addresses challenges with current SMS (text message) account verification, improves security, and lays the groundwork for future verification methods like passkeys and biometrics. To ensure a secure shift, system level analytics and checks were required to validate how Pioneers verify their accounts using the new method, which led to a temporary pause in migrations. Migrations have now resumed and will gradually expand. Read the full blog for more information about the update and how it benefits the network in the long term.

The first PiFest after Open Network has concluded! It was inspiring to see Pioneer shoppers and local merchants around the world demonstrate the expanding utility of Pi! Stay tuned for a full recap of the PiFest in the coming weeks.
On the other hand, the .pi Domains Auction is ongoing. Participate to secure your own .pi domain. Go to the Pi mining app to read the update that includes stats, further information, and answers to some of the community’s frequently asked questions about the Domains Auction!
Pi Network has released two-factor authentication (2FA) for wallet confirmation that requires some Pioneers to complete 2FA using a trusted email before their Pi is successfully migrated to the Mainnet blockchain.
https://t.co/R1vWWIOXMK
This secures and confirms Pioneers’ Pi Wallets, supporting the security of Pioneers’ accounts and their Pi.
Certain Pioneers who migrated their Pi to Mainnet over the last few weeks—but are still within the 14 day pending period—will also need to complete 2FA; otherwise, their Pi will be securely returned to their mining app. After the completion of the 2FA, their same balance will get migrated again.
