EXISTENTIAL THREAT TO OUR HUMANITY AND COLLECTIVE CONSCIENCE:
When I look at the indiscriminate killings of innocent Gazans by Israeli forces, I realize that we live in an unjust and imbalanced Unipolar World.
When I see 20 million Afghan women living under Taliban gender apartheid rule, I am shocked to realize that the world is Unigender too.
The justice, equality & human rights bar, which was set very high by iconic leaders like Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and Bacha Khan, has fallen very low.
Time to reflect !!!

Yes, those photos you’ve seen are real.
More than 18 years ago, a baby named Lamine Yamal and his mom Sheila met Lionel Messi at a UNICEF fundraising photoshoot.
Today, their achievements on the pitch inspire millions. Off the pitch, both Messi and Lamine Yamal use their voices and platforms as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors to support and advocate for children around the world.
The goal? That every child survives, thrives, and fulfils their potential.
We are proud to have them on our team.

🔴 Day 1,763 since the Taliban banned Afghan girls from attending secondary school.
Every girl denied an education is a loss to Afghan society.
You are not forgotten.

Thank you, Dr. Muhammad Ali Sheikh, for your kind words and, more importantly, for your steadfast support for girls’ education.
Together, we can ensure that every girl has the opportunity to learn, lead and shape a brighter future. 🙏📚

It was nice to speak at a small gathering of educationists to celebrate UN-designated and globally observed Malala Day, honoring the birthday and advocacy of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai, in her presence. I also met her illustrious father, who is equally committed to the cause of female education.

Every child’s voice deserves to be heard, and every girl deserves the chance to learn.
From Khuzdar to every corner of the world, let us stand together until quality education becomes a reality for all.

We’re still smiling from this past week ✨
From spending time with students from Shangla Girls School and our Education Champion Network partners, to meeting with policymakers, and even playing a little bit of football, Malala’s trip home was a reminder of how joyful the world can be when we uplift girls together.
Take a look back at the hope, ambition, creativity and progress we celebrated during this year’s #MalalaDay2026 ♥️

How can we mark #MalalaDay without talking about the policies and resources needed for girls’ education?
Last week, one of our most important conversations was: how do we move from evidence to action?
We know why girls are dropping out. The evidence is clear through our joint report with @PIEPakistangov . Now we need coordination, investment and action.
Pakistan declared an Education Emergency. Let’s make it real, not just words.
Every girl safe in school. Every girl learning. Every girl leading.
I sat down with @Malala on her birthday trip to Pakistan to talk about girls’ education, life-changing books, and… being a car mechanic? You heard it here first!
“ We want to ensure, actually, that the girls’ voices are reflected in the policy conversations. Nobody knows about the challenges that girls face better than the girls themselves.” -@Malala

Strings of Leadership: Young Voices, Shared Purpose
As part of an interactive leadership-building activity, Malala Yousafzai joined young representatives of the Sindh Children's Parliament in a symbolic exercise using strings to demonstrate the power of connection, trust and collective leadership.
Girls from Sindh Government schools in Karachi, Badin and Tharparkar stood together with Malala, each holding a piece of string that represented their unique experiences, aspirations and responsibilities. As the strings intertwined, the activity illustrated how every individual voice contributes to a stronger and more inclusive movement for education and children's rights.
The exercise encouraged the girls to reflect on teamwork, collaboration and the importance of supporting one another in overcoming challenges. It also reinforced the message that meaningful change is achieved when young people work together, listen to one another and lead with empathy and confidence.
The leadership activity concluded with an inspiring discussion, where Malala encouraged the girls to continue believing in their potential, strengthen their leadership skills and remain committed to advocating for quality education and equal opportunities for every child.

When we pair the moral force of Faiz's words with the urgency of girls' education, we create something neither of us could achieve alone.
Thank you Faiz Foundation @FaizFest for partnership with @MalalaFund and our partners.
Faiz taught us to dream of a just world; educating every girl is how we turn that dream into reality.
Thank you, @FaizFest, for standing with @MalalaFund

Says the man whose regime has placed millions of Afghan women under house arrest. When the Taliban seized power, around six million girls were enrolled in school. They were stripped of that right. Afghanistan has become a nightmare for women and all minority communities.
🔴 Day 1,761 of the Taliban's oppression of Afghan women.
Millions of Afghan girls are still excluded from school. Every girl denied an education is a loss for humanity.
Those responsible must be held accountable. World leaders cannot look away. You are not forgotten.
