Could You Be Deceived?
"O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?" Galatians 3: 1 NKJV
After God created human being, He noted that this creation had a tendency to do things contrary to His will for them. They corrupted themselves and went astray. Human beings have the free will do what they please, and this allows them to also choose to follow and be in fellowship with God. The joy of choosing to follow the Creator is what gives depth and joy to the relationship. If we were programmed to simply be obedient and worship God, there wouldn't much to be joyful over.
Sadly, part of the agency of choice is that human beings then created foolishness. We create statues and give them divinity and worship them. We pray to things we have created. We pray to things that we can destroy. We give glory and honour to that which should be bowing to us. And even then, why would we create a non-living thing to worship us?
You are desperate to hear audibly from the Creator that you would run to spiritists and diviners to satisfy your itch. You believe in psychics because of your desperation to find direction, to deal with unresolved issues that you could have dealt with in time, and seek direction from familiar spirits that you would sell your soul at the altar of convenience.
Oh foolishness! Oh, the folly of human nature!
Here's what God has promised you. He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you. Nothing will separate you from His love! When you call to Him, He will answer. When you admit and confess your errors, He is faithful and just to forgive. He promised that when you seek His Kingdom and righteousness first, He will add all these things to you.
You have been chasing these things and have loved money that you pierced your heart with evil. You have worshipped His creation more than Him. Your desperation opened the door to your deception. But all is not lost.
Foolishness is not permanent. Mistakes are permanent outside of fellowship with God. No sin is too great that He can not forgive. He understands that you've done things out of ignorance. Turn to Him.
You will know who you are in Him. You will have peace in the midst of the storm. You will discover that human love has limitations and that the love you desperately desire, only He is able to pour it into you. You will realise that the pursuit of His kingdom is far greater than the riches of this world. You will find peace. He will give you peace. You will know how to follow His leading. You will discover that trusting in Him is safest compared to trusting people. You will heal from your trauma. He will be your Father, the perfect Father.

The Dweller and the Dwelling
"God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands." - Acts 17: 24
Imagine for a moment that you are standing outside a building and looking at how it looks, admiring its architectural design. You marvel at its majesty and splendour and then walk away talking about the people who live in the building as though you have met them.
The only thing you saw and engaged your senses with was the building, and you did not see any of the occupants, yet you make judgments about the occupants.
Imagine once more that you see a building with a name on it, and you know why it exists, yet you don't know who lives in it. You speak of the dwellers as if you have met them.
Every time you conclude on the identity of a person without knowing who God created them to be, it is like judging the dwellers of a residence by the building you see. The real identity of a person is not the body you see. The true identity of who you are is not your body or your physical form. You have never been your physical form. You are not your body. You will never be your body.
You are the Spirit Man who lives in the body that has legal operational authority on earth. Without the body, you would be a disembodied person... https://t.co/hITLYzz4Pp

The Root of Your Identity
[5] “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” - Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV
It is very difficult to find your purpose in this life. It is very difficult to define yourself purely from your independent thinking process. It is even harder to define yourself without using your experiences as a foundation. Much harder to define yourself without the opinions of others over your life.
One of the traits of life is that it is ever-changing, and people's opinions follow the same nature - ever-changing. In one season, who they affirmed you to be is insufficient in the next season. The complexity gets worse when you try to know who you are culturally. In one culture, it is acceptable to be yourself, and in another, it is shunned upon.
Morality and ethics are never absolute. They change based on the cultural environment and traditional practices. You are the only person you live with everywhere. No matter where you go, you are with you. If your identity is geographical and culturally rooted and defined, you will always be living with a stranger in your own mind.
But God has created you and knows who you are. He has defined you outside of culture, traditions, ethics, and morality. He has given you an immutable identity. An identity of you that transcends geography, culture, human evolution, and transformation.
You are not the body in which you live. You are not defined by the experiences you've lived through. You are not defined by the opinions of other people. God knew you before you had a body. And if that is who He knows, then who are you outside of the body?

It's Always Been On The Inside
"Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, and I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
You are missing something in your life, an answer, or seeking direction. You have been searching for it for the longest time, and you don't know why you are not getting anywhere. You've grown frustrated, and it has infested into anger and resentment about your life.
There were times when you used substances to numb hefrustration or fill the void. Perhaps you experienced trauma so deep and hurtful early in your life that the experience lingers in your mind to this day. The answers you seek are not out there. The answers have never been out there. The answers will be out there.
Perhaps you lived your life feeling that you are supposed to be farther than where you are at. You feel a sense of delay and stagnation. Others see you as having progressed and deem you successful, yet there is something that says you are not where you should be.
The answers you seek will never be found through material gains. The answers you seek will never be found through substances. Your answers are not in the things created.
Your answers are found in God. He created you. He knows every intricate part of you, even the parts of you that you don't know exist. He knows which area to touch that will reset the rest of your life. But you have to call unto Him. You have to depend on Him. You must trust Him as you trust the seat you sit on without question. You must have faith in Him just as you do on the plans you make, trusting you will be there to see them come true. He is waiting on you. He has been waiting for you to give Him your all.

MORNING THOUGHT
Passiveness Masked As Peace
“Therefore to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” - James 4:17 NKJV
Most passive people were not born passive. They learnt it from the experiences they lived through.
Somewhere along the journey, speaking up became associated with something you despised or pain. Expressing an opinion led to criticism. Taking initiative led to disappointment. Being visible invited rejection. Over time, the mind adapted and developed a strategy for survival. Stay quiet. Stay small. Stay agreeable. Avoid the risk and be happy - so you believed.
At first, it was protection. Eventually, it became identity. This is why passivity is so difficult to recognise because it often disguises itself as wisdom, patience, humility, or being easy-going. It sounds noble. It feels spiritual. Yet beneath the surface is often a person who is afraid of being disliked, afraid of conflict, afraid of failure, or afraid of standing firmly in their own convictions.
So you wait for permission. You wait for certainty. You wait for the perfect moment. You wait for someone else to go first. You wait for confidence to arrive before taking action. Meanwhile, life keeps moving.
The opportunity comes and goes. The conversation never happens. The boundary remains unset. The dream stays in your imagination because hesitation becomes more familiar than courage.
The tragedy is that every time you avoid what needs to be done, you strengthen the pattern and affirm it as worthy of your time and attention. Every delayed decision teaches your mind that avoidance is safety. Every avoided conversation teaches your mind that silence is protection. Every surrendered opportunity reinforces the belief that your voice, your needs, and your presence matter less than everyone else's.
Eventually, what began as behaviour becomes an identity. You start saying, "That is just who I am."
*No. That is who you have practised being.*
The person who avoids confrontation is not necessarily peaceful. The person who never disagrees is not necessarily humble. The person who constantly defers to others is not necessarily considerate. They are simply afraid.
The Scriptures never present passivity as a virtue. Moses had to confront Pharaoh. Esther had to approach the king. David had to face Goliath. The disciples had to leave what was familiar. Even Jesus, who embodied perfect love, spoke hard truths, challenged corruption, set boundaries, and walked with conviction.
Peace does not mean the absence of courage. Read that again.
From today, stop waiting for confidence or to feel that the moment is right.
Speak before you feel fully ready. Make the decision before you feel certain. Express the thought you have been withholding. Set the boundary you have been postponing. Make the call. Send the message. Take the initiative.
It will feel uncomfortable at first because you are challenging an old identity. But discomfort is often the sign that growth has begun. You are teaching your mind, your emotions, and your spirit that fear no longer gets the final vote.
Your authentic self does not emerge when fear disappears. Your authentic self emerges when the truth becomes more important than fear. Step out.

MORNING THOUGHT
God Is Not Like You
“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent.” - Numbers 23:19 NKJV
One of the reasons people struggle to trust God is because they unconsciously expect Him to behave like people. People make promises and break them. People say they care and then disappear. People become inconsistent. They change their minds. They act from emotion. They disappoint, abandon, manipulate, and betray.
After enough experiences like these, your heart develops a habit of expecting the same behaviour from everyone, including God. Without realising it, you relate to God through the lens of human disappointment.
You read His promises but secretly expect Him to fail you. You hear about His love but remain suspicious. You pray but prepare yourself for rejection. You struggle to rest because part of you believes God is as unreliable as the people who hurt you.
Eventually, you project humanity onto divinity and forget that God is not a larger version of man. He does not fluctuate with moods. He does not wake up uncertain. He does not become less faithful because circumstances change. He does not withhold His love because of disappointment. He does not abandon His word because it becomes inconvenient.
If you truly understand His character, you can remain steady even when His actions are not immediately clear.
How much of your relationship with God has been shaped by your experiences with people? Have you been trusting God as He is or fearing Him as others have been? Do you know God for who He is, or have you known Him for who people have been?

MORNING THOUGHT
The God You Have Never Known
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” - Hosea 4:6 NKJV
One of the greatest tragedies in the Christian life after rejecting God is living for decades with a distorted understanding of Him. You live knowing about God, but never knowing Him.
You know the Bible stories, sermons, and religious language. You know the traditions, customs, and practices. Yet when life becomes difficult, you discover that much of what you believed about God was borrowed from other people rather than discovered through a relationship.
There is a difference between information and revelation. Information tells you that God is faithful. Revelation carries you through a season where nothing makes sense because you have experienced that faithfulness for yourself. Information tells you that God is a Father. Revelation heals the wounds left by earthly relationships because you have encountered His Fatherhood personally.
Information tells you that God is sufficient. Revelation allows you to remain rooted and grounded when what once gave you security is taken away. The danger of second-hand faith is that it often collapses under first-hand suffering.
This is why God repeatedly invites you into a relationship rather than mere religion. Moses knew God's ways while many others only knew His acts. The disciples walked with Jesus while the crowds merely observed Him. One produces transformation. The other produces spectators. Aren't you tired of being a spectator?
Many believers spend their lives studying God while avoiding intimacy with Him. They seek knowledge without surrendering, understanding without obedience, and theology without relationship. But God has never desired to be merely analysed. He desires to be known. That is why He tells you to be still and know that He is God, not speculate.
If every sermon disappeared, every book vanished, and every teacher fell silent, how much of God would remain in your life through your own experience with Him? Because there comes a point where borrowed faith must become personal faith. Knowledge about God must become knowledge of God.

NPA SECURES THE HARSHEST SENTENCE AGAINST CHILD RAPIST AS COURT DECLARES HIM A DANGEROUS CRIMINAL
@NPA_Prosecutes
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has secured one of the harshest sentences possible after the Western Cape Division of the High Court in Cape Town sentenced child rapist Leano Vergotine (42) to five life terms and 78 years’ direct imprisonment.
The court also invoked the provisions of Section 286A of the Criminal Procedure Act, declaring him a dangerous criminal.
The effect of this declaration is that Vergotine has been sentenced to an indefinite period of imprisonment in terms of Section 286B of the Criminal Procedure Act.
The court directed that he be brought back before it after the expiration of a period determined by the court.
Handing down a sentence, Acting Judge Amanda Van Leeve emphasised that there can never be a time when the parole board can consider releasing the accused on parole. He will have to return to court for further judicial scrutiny.
This landmark sentence follows the dedicated work of State Advocate Rene Uys and Warrant Officer Van Rooi, who went beyond the call of duty to ensure that the sexual predator who preyed on children in Ceres was convicted and received a sentence befitting his heinous crimes.
Vergotine was convicted on charges including assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, assault, five counts of rape, multiple counts related to child pornography (creation and use of child pornography), and sexual grooming of children.
He was sentenced to five life sentences and 78 years’ imprisonment, with the court ordering the sentences to run concurrently. His name has also been entered into the National Register of Sexual Offenders.
The State led evidence that the accused attacked minors, both boys and girls, at different times in Ceres. He brutally assaulted them and raped them, while also making videos of their private parts and of the rapes themselves.
Advocate Uys submitted that the State witnesses were credible, giving uncomplicated, chronological, and honest accounts. There were no inherent improbabilities in their evidence, nor did they exaggerate their versions.
The evidence overwhelmingly proved the accused’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt on all counts.
To fully illustrate the accused’s cruelty, the State called Captain Shaun van der Heever, Section Commander of the Investigative Psychology Section in the Western Cape, a Forensic Profiler and Behavioural Advisor.
Captain van der Heever concluded in his report that Vergotine is a sexual predator who had refined his ability to exploit minor victims for his sexual gratification. He groomed and manipulated the victims to gain their trust and recorded his crimes to relive his fantasies.
At the time of these offences, Vergotine was on parole after serving a sentence of 15 years’ imprisonment for the rape of a minor boy in 2009.
He committed these new crimes within six months of his release. He has a long criminal history dating back to 1998 (when he was still a minor), with 16 previous convictions for offences including housebreaking with intent to steal and theft, indecent assault, escaping from custody (three times), illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, robbery, malicious injury to property, and rape.
In the argument on the sentence, Adv Uys highlighted that Vergotine not only raped the complainants but also recorded himself doing so. “This is what distinguishes this accused from other rapists,” she said. “He created a permanent digital footprint, and we do not know where or when the victims will be confronted with these videos in their lifetime.

Our IMMIGRATION CRISIS…
A person applies for a job in another country and prepares documentation to go there and their documents are approved or rejected by the government of the country based on whether or not the person meets the requirements to gain access to that particular country and to get that particular job.
That person can only open a business or trade IF the laws of that country allow them to and if they comply with government regulations to open that business! They don’t come to that country to look for opportunities, they only come into that particular country IF the opportunities are already available.
Refugees and Asylum seekers are limited in number and cannot just come in claiming they need protection! They also live in refugee camps and are limited as to what they can and cannot do and they are NEVER treated as equal to the citizens nor do they claim equal rights. After a certain period they are required to go back home once the situation has changed…
In South Africa
People come into the country ILLEGALLY, the government doesn’t know who they are, where they come from or what they are coming to do in the country. Many of them come under false pretence as “visitors/ tourists/students” and then never leave the country and then start looking for opportunities in business, employment or crime! The laws don’t allow them to enter the country Illegally or enter legally but stay in the country illegally but the minute they get here they never want to leave and they start wanting access to jobs, houses, schools, clinics, grants and any and everything they can get their hands on. These very same people then start DEMANDING documents from the South African government now that they have come into the country instead of having acquired the documents even before coming into South Africa, then if not given they blame our government for their problems, now the system, the country MUST make provision for their existence even though they were meant to be made provision for even before coming into the country, based on what is AVAILABLE, AFTER the citizens of the country have been catered for.
Jobs- They don’t have the legal requirements to be here but because they are desperate someone who is protected by labour rights or even has a Union can easily be replaced by them so they can get underpaid and mistreated because they have no rights and this job that they came for was not available when they came into the country, it became available to them because they can be exploited.
Businesses-They cannot pay tax because they are undocumented and unknown and operate and thrive in the black market because the borders are so porous and illicit goods are beneficial to criminals
Crime- If you come into a country with no job offer, place to stay, means to survive the most natural thing to do is to do anything to survive and crime becomes the easiest route! Sometimes the documents of the country also ends up being owned by majority of these people who fraudulently occupy them and steal peoples identities and inconvenience their lives!
Refugees/Asylum Seekers- come from countries far far away and bring their men who are here as economic migrants. They set up NPOs and NGOs to claim money for refugees and use the money to reap from the economy under the disguise of running away from persecution, while all the while creating a model to maximise their capital in the black market while getting full protection from the law! They abuse our courts and the same international law which was meant to protect genuine victims ends up protecting criminals, drug lords, mercenaries, terrorists etc. makes our country a home for organised crime!
[COMMENT]
The dismissal of Major-General Richard Shibiri marks another significant moment for the SAPS as it continues efforts to restore credibility and public trust within law enforcement.
For a senior officer entrusted with combating organised crime to be found guilty of misconduct linked to associating with known criminals raises serious concerns about integrity at the highest levels of policing.
The decision also sends a clear message that rank does not place anyone above accountability.
At a time when South Africans are demanding stronger action against organised crime, corruption and criminal syndicates, the credibility of those leading these battles is critical.
Internal disciplinary action against senior officials is necessary if the SAPS hopes to rebuild confidence in the institution.
The focus now shifts to ensuring stability, professionalism and ethical leadership within specialised crime units tasked with tackling some of the country’s most dangerous criminal networks.
And we can expect more arrests of cops implicated in criminality.
