This is the exact type of game the Mavericks should look for from Zaccharie Risacher.
He doesn't need to be a primary scoring option to help Dallas. Zacch just needs to play with energy, make a positive impact defensively, and finish plays.
Mavericks star Kyrie Irving encouraged Naji Marshall before his postgame interview and did their handshake with him.
“Good job Naj. I’ve got you baby. Way to lead us.”
Marshall finished with 15 points, and eight of these points came in the fourth quarter.
Rick Carlisle on Dusty May entering his first year as an NBA coach:
"The lessons go on, even when you get a quarter century into it. I could tell you that. Dusty's an amazing coach. One of the best coaches in the world. He proved that last year. He's gonna mold this team into a team that has the identity of his Michigan teams, I think. I see a lot of similarities. They're disruptive. They're long. They're athletic. They play free. He really empowers his best players. They're gonna be very good."
I might be on an island here, but I really like Zaccharie Risacher here.
Forget the No. 1 pick label, I genuinely like him as a player. His defense, rebounding, length and hustle stand out, and now we see his confidence on offense.
Mavs play much better when he’s on the court.
Mavericks star Kyrie Irving on what Cooper Flagg’s teammates standing up for him after Aaron Nesmith’s hard foul says about the locker room:
“We’ve got to set an example for every single one of us, especially Coop, our youngest guy on the team. We gotta protect him, and when we see him go down like that, it doesn’t make us feel good…That’s NBA basketball, it’s a brotherhood you create within that locker room. You can see the difference when teams don’t show up for each other and we don’t want to be one of those teams, so when anyone goes down, especially Coop or myself or anybody, we gotta have each other’s back, and we’re a family out here and that’s the atmosphere we gotta create”
@BrianSuttererMD@NickVanExit Love the breakdown. Hes 19 and it looks barely mild. I think He’ll bounce back pretty quick seeing as he braced the fall a bit
Not sure why you people are so intent on dealing with this show this way. Sand bending was never some elite, niche sub bending style. There was a whole tribe of people who could do it.
