By day she's a freelance proofreader and editor in Quebec, with fifteen years in indie film behind her. But storytelling was always the strong suit. She's been writing for 20+ years, since childhood, self-publishing under two pen names. As Eidahs, she pours herself into gay romance and murder mysteries: mafia, cops, jocks, all the banter and the angst. She writes characters so affectionate you fall for them right alongside her.

Then she found Inkitt, through a Galatea ad in a random game app of all things, and followed her gut. A believer in signs and serendipity, she says it simply felt right, and she's never looked back.

Her filmmaking past never left her, though. She writes scenes so physically, taking the stances and choreographing every move, that she coined a name for it: Method Writer. It's in her bio now. And her stories run personal in quieter ways too. Her MxM romance Into My Recluse Heart follows Dante, a photo editor turned hermit after an abusive relationship, whose walls begin to crumble the day his sunny neighbour Axel leaves home-made muffins, and a note, at his door. Dante's a freelance editor, just like Eidahs herself.

Best of all, she lifts other writers as she climbs. Her advice to anyone scared to publish? "Writing is vulnerable. We put parts of ourselves into our characters. Start small, find a good editor, and go for it. Every time, you come out better."
