"PONS" in Latin means "Bridge, Connecting Gallery, walkway, way, passage"
PONS basically means THE WAY, the bridge from poor to rich, the way into success, the passage into finally getting out of the slums.
Anatomy: the "pons" in your brainstem
There's literally a structure in your brainstem called the pons, named because it looks like a bridge connecting the two halves of your cerebellum to the rest of your brain.
This is the big one. "Pontifex" (Roman high priest, now the Pope's title) is widely believed to literally mean "bridge maker," from pons ("bridge") and facere ("to make"). priests as literal/metaphorical bridge-builders between gods and men.
The Pope's actual Twitter handle is @pontifex, and he even has a Latin-tweeting account @pontifex_ln. So somewhere in the etymology of "Pope," there's a hidden "pons."
PONS has always BEEN THE WAY.
