I have a question for Republicans who support abortion bans,
If your sister, daughter, or wife had a miscarriage in say, Texas or Georgia, and she needed an emergency D&C, would you want her to have to wait until she was dying of sepsis before she could receive care?
Because that’s what is happening all over this country right now.
Women are dying preventable deaths because of the bans YOU support.
So, please answer the question.
Because I’d really like to know.
Just in the last 48 hours, Donald Trump:
-Insulted Medal of Honor recipients
-Said he wants to be "friendly" with Iran
-Boasted about how he gets along with dictators
-Lost track of what state he was in
-Said he's "better looking" than VP Harris
-Said climate change is good because it will give us more beachfront property.
-Repeated the lie that he won the 2020 election
-Mocked and mispronounced the names of journalists
Dear Republicans, it's not too late to get off the Trump train.
Helen Comperatore, the wife of Corey Comperatore, the man who was murdered at the Trump rally on Saturday, tells the NY Post that Donald Trump has yet to reach out to her family.
Helen also said that she refused to accept a condolence call from President Biden: “My husband was a devout Republican, and he would not have wanted me to talk to him….I don’t have any ill-will toward Joe Biden. I’m not one of those people that gets involved in politics. I support Trump, that’s who I’m voting for but I don’t have ill-will towards Biden.”
You may have heard the term “Project 2025” floating around, and you may even have cracked open the 900+ page document yourself, only to see a lot of kind of bland, policy-wonk text. So let me crack through the policy-speak and tell you WTF is in this document.
mitski says she’s fine with it but I think it’s genuinely tragic that her song where she says “my love is mine all mine” was turned into “my partner is all mine” & not what it is, which is her singing about how her love, her literal loving soul, belongs to her & cannot be taken
