There is no day that the sun does not shine down on the Earth. Absolutely no day. The reason you may not see the sun on some days is because of rain clouds or other atmospheric phenomena blocking your view. But if you get into an aircraft and fly above the atmosphere, you will see the sun right there, shining. It is the same thing when you feel depressed and all alone. God is always with you. It is your feelings that are preventing you for sensing His Presence. But if you can detach yourself from how you feel and attach yourself to the promises of God, that act of transcending your carnality will put you in touch with divinity.

You can be brought up in a ghetto, but that does not mean you have to be ghetto. There is something called evolution. Tap into it. Reparent yourself. Unlearn that hood mentality and acquire a good personality. Do not let your background put your back on the ground or put you back on the ground. Your origin does not have to be your destination. Recreate yourself. Stop using gutter language, like 'last last'. Your diction affects your condition. You did not influence how and where you began life. But you are in complete control of where you end up in life.
