Landlord in New York says he will not be able to maintain his properties because of Zohran Mamdani’s rent freeze

He says it’s because of property taxes, each of his 3 units he owned breaks down to $1,000 per month each in property taxes and they go up every year. With a rent freeze and property taxes continuing to go up, he will have to pay off people and not be able to maintain his building

I verified this with city wide averages and yes, property taxes on good location parts of New York break down to $800-$1,500 per month in property taxes per unit. Insanity

ALERT: Florida Insta Cart delivery woman slaps a child for struggling to carry a pack of water bottles she was delivering.

Kiah Lowery was making a delivery to an apartment in St. Augustine when she forced a child to carry a heavy pack of water bottles.

The child struggled to carry the water bottles, dropped them, prompting Lowery to manhandle the child and slap him.

St. John’s County Sheriff’s Office reviewed the footage captured on a neighbor's doorbell camera and arrested Lowery for child abuse.

It is unclear who has custody of the child as SJCSO continues to investigate the situation.

Gangsta rap is not authentic it's a carefully manufactured cultural product.

Most of them are actors: Tupac Shakur was a formally trained ballet dancer for christ sake and clearly homosexual... then he was repackaged as the archetypal street thug.

Rock music in the 90s was at its peak, sold most concert tickets, merch and when nu-metal emerged it began to mobilise disaffected young White men, channeled raw anger rooted in economic stagnation, family breakdown and cultural marginalisation into aggressive, communal experiences.

The "elites" who shape cultural production recognised the danger in this... unified anger among White men carried revolutionary potential if ever directed outward...

Rock was killed. By the early 2000s, the music industry completely pivoted toward hip hop and gangsta rap.

By elevating performative thug archetypes and sidelining bands that encouraged White male solidarity, the industry helped ensure that popular music remained a tool of pacification rather than awakening.
