🚨 CANADA'S BIGGEST BANK just got put on recession watch.

Royal Bank of Canada is being watched closely for one number next earnings season: loan loss provisions.

That’s money banks set aside when they believe borrowers may soon struggle to pay mortgages, credit cards, or loans.

Why it matters now:
🔹 Mortgage renewals are hitting at much higher rates than 2021
🔹 Household debt remains heavy
🔹 Unemployment is rising
🔹 Consumers are already squeezed by groceries and bills

If provisions stay elevated or climb again, it could be another warning sign that Canada’s slowdown is getting real. The stress often shows up in bank earnings before it shows up everywhere else.
