@gaiaslastlaugh I had only watched 1 anime and consumed no other content before I decided to start learning it. I didn’t have a huge affinity for Japan. I am fluent now. I became passionate about the learning itself and all content was primarily a tool to help me reach my goal.

@Crypto_Rolf @mynamebedan You need to understand at least 10k, but you don’t have to make 10k flascards. I could understand 10k words when i had less than 6k flascards. There is a lot you pick up from immersion if you spend 10 times more time immersing rather than doing flashcards (my minimum ratio).
