@sunsetwaltzz@Fujimaru215 I'll be honest Kai is not a fake you really have to play boost and charge is quite possibly the most homogenised and brain-dead trails has felt in a while
@d0gmaballs I'll be honest even playing limbus on a private server to remove the gachaism of it the actual game design is entirely compromised by the gacha and it is a a total slog to play through
@MichaelFKane Yeah I did sales for a while and unless they got their partner on the phone I immediately discounted it in the same vein as " give me a call back"
@thunderba11r It's not a particularly bad argument in regards to system exclusives like I don't particularly care for a single game Nintendo could put out besides FE or Xenoblade(or F-Zero but that's never happening) so whatever game I buy is basically burdening the load for the whole console
@Zalaphrax The incentive should be the characters being meaningfully different and the encounters being designed in such a way as to force you to want switch and this is before discussing literally having the story mandate the other characters
@SolarPowers9999@CorenLaVolpe I'm speaking in realistic terms you spastic I've played every single game as they released but owning a GBA, DS,3DS,PSP and PS2 for one series is actually a massive ask yes
@slitherwinglove I skipped lobcorp(no interest in the GamePlay)
I played ruina and like the gameplay was fine the story was good but I would never play it unmodded because grinding cards is tedious.
I don't support gachaslop so I play limbus on a private server under these conditions it's good
@natisneato So to loop it back to I guess srpgs the mental load of theory crafting a stratagem is fun as well as the execution but any sort of tedium to get there becomes hopelessly boring
@natisneato I guess when I say go go go I'm refering to the level of active engagement and mental stress. Replaying for a 1cc obviously can be boring but it also requires constant lock in the entire time.
In that vein I don't value filler content or loops that perpetuate it
@PandaKingEX I look at thousand acre woods in 3 and despite hating the gameplay of it all I remember was more fondly that something like frozen or tangled because it actually dealt with Sora's feelings about growing up Vs just "yep here's the movie and org XIII vagueposting"
