Newzroom Afrika Dominates TV News Ratings

September has had South Africans going TJO! everyday with shocking Breaking News and according to the latest numbers, Newzroom Afrika is the channel most television viewers tuned-in to for the coverage.

For this month, the channel led the news channels ratings with a median ratings of 66K viewers -- making it the 9th most watched channel on DStv.

SABC NEWS channel came in second at the 16th spot with 50K.

The once dominant eNCA did not even make it to the Top 20 this month.

The business received a R2,500 fine, which it must pay before resuming operations. Law enforcement officers are in Johannesburg as part of Operation Shanela, targeting crime and non-compliant businesses.
