@Jodie_Boisvert That's excellent news compared to Meniere's! It's quite common to have allergies that affect the ears, so just keep taking those meds π
@elonmusk Why would I pay for this hate fest? You've done nothing to stop the lies and, in fact, you openly court the liars. It's one thing to allow differing opinions, but when you let people openly post fake videos and outright lies, it's not worth coming on more than a few seconds a day
@Jodie_Boisvert Meniere's usually comes with lower frequency hearing loss that is easily detectable, tinnitus, fullness, and violent vertigo attacks that last for many hours.
"The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.β

@Girlthescienti1@workingbnb@MasterAcademia_@AOMConnect I've been invited several times to write academic books but have always refused because the industry is incredibly corrupt and authors routinely get screwed over after doing an insane amount of work.
@Mayra_K11@MomokaSunohara@PostdocVoice I was told the reason for this is because post docs are transients and could leave the university at any time, leaving the university responsible for completing the project. A full-time faculty is less likely to do this. Seems logical, but still not fair.
@ThePhDPlace Here's how to do a PhD in 3 easy steps: 1) Find a good chair, 2) find a good committee, 3) do what they tell you to do. Problems almost always occur when one of these conditions is not met
