Sounds like Vinesh could have made 53kg without cutting all night. All can be true: She earned silver. Need weight allowance. Need more weights. She is competing in the wrong weight class

@alliseeisgold I absolutely agree there should be more weight classes. Olympic weights should match UWW weights. However, if her normal weight is 57kg, maybe she should have been wrestling 53kg or 57kg. Both Olympic weights. According to this, it seems she wouldn’t have had this problem at 53kg

100% agree. I had these exact thoughts. No slight on the other champs. Many great performances and achievements. But Parris earned the Hodge this year.
