LA is HOT. But does it have to be this hot?
Did you know shade from a single tree can drop temps by 20° or more? Yet working-class neighborhoods like South LA, East LA, and the Valley get the least tree coverage and bear the brunt of extreme heat. Let's change that and finally cool things down for everyone.
We’ve reached a settlement agreement with Paramount that includes court enforceable guardrails to resolve the antitrust issues at the center of our case, protect competition and consumer choice, and provide for the production of significantly more films and a minimum of $1.5 billion in additional investment in domestic film production.
Over and over, our office has heard from people who would be most impacted by the merger that what matters most is consistent film output, domestic production, and protecting jobs.
Today’s settlement protects workers, jobs, and Hollywood.

Since SF doesn’t understand the term ABG, it stands for Asian Baby Girl or Baby Gangster.
It derives from Vietnamese and Chinese American youth that was connected to nightlife and gang culture.
Remnants of that still remain, however it is now archaic.
ABG’s are now characterized and connected to bold make up (like fake eyelashes), dyed hair (usually blonde), and EDM culture.
In my opinion, it characterizes a revolt against a societal perception on what Asian girls are supposed to be—academic, quiet, and reserved.
It has now been co-opted by SF/Tech Culture to literally describe ANY Asian Girl. I’m a SoCal native and it’s hilarious how much this term has been diluted with its entrance into the mainstream culture.
Also, an important thing to note, Asian women do NOT like being called an ABG as the characterization is generally negative.
However, to conclude, ts is weird and demeaning to Asian women.
