I remain incredibly frustrated and disappointed in the commentary regarding the CFP from this past weekend...Games like that happen all the time...Even in the NFL
Asked Mike Norvell about Sankey's comments that UGA was a top 4 team that didn't make the playoff but SEC didn't complain...
Norvell: "I don't disagree that Georgia was one of the top four teams if you're judging off talent and ability but they also earned their loss. That was part of the result of what happened on the field. When you look at our team and what it was, we controlled the things we could control, we unfortunately had an injury, but we had a team that responded to it. Everybody can have an opinion of what happened. I don't disagree they were one of the four best teams, but what happened on the field kept them out of the playoff."
Former #FSU DT Fabien Lovett keeps it real regarding Orange Bowl and playoff snub.
“We finished 13-0 and put two guys in there that were 12-1 and what pissed me off the most is everybody tries to relate that Georgia game to how everything would have happened.”
“63-3 my ass.”
@AjaxNole@Frisbie_Hendrix@nole_atl at places like FSU or any other popular relevant program does this, if you retired every number there wouldn’t be enough left for current players. retiring the jersey is like honoring that specific seasons jersey for all time. retiring a number means no one can wear that again.
@vanillavick2020 @BeLackay @DurstMurdaugh @13d_riera@MattReeceEtsu just like wash struggled against bad teams with penix, just like bama struggled against bad teams with milroe. that narrative would hold more weight if we held all the teams accountable to the same standard.
@MarcRyanOnAir In the past month every playoff team had a one-score game against a bad football team. Florida State has played two games away from home without Jordan Travis -- and they won them both by two scores.
