2/ On February 4, 2026, a network outage impacted the Solana ecosystem which resulted in connectivity across continental US (e.g. New York ↔ Los Angeles) being rerouted via Europe and Asia.
DoubleZero incentivizes its network contributors to provide multiple redundant paths between metros.
As a result, traffic on DoubleZero continued to flow over the fastest available path between NYC and LAX with many fallback paths available (as shown below).

DoubleZero EDGE: 11 publishers at launch. 434 now.
Every validator publishing their @Solana Leader shreds over EDGE are getting paid.
If you’re not using Edge, you’re losing to someone else, that is.

We built DoubleZero for the next generation of finance: call it New Finance.
New Finance is the dream crypto promised but never fully delivered. It's seamless markets that move as close to the speed of light as possible, markets anyone in the world can participate in, and for which anyone who is smarter, faster, or more insightful can win out.
And today, the new final stream is hindered by legacy infrastructure and legacy mindsets. We are here to change all that.
We started with Solana, providing direct access to Shreds sourced from validators that produce them, and created the fastest shred distribution product around.
But our vision is much bigger than Solana and even bigger than crypto. If you are building for new finance and require fast data infrastructure and market feeds, we would love to talk. The next few months will be quite interesting
@nikshepsvn Imo this is not the way to think about it. TEEs are cool but even their own manufacturers know there are vulnerabilities that exist by design. Aka an attacker getting possesion of the machine.
Zk is a superior premise all around that is mathematically more sound.
The question here is where and how do I follow Taylor's work?
This guy came in for a few days to audit one of the most advanced cryptography product codebases, found a critical bug, reported it, and now has the whole ZEC community panicking.
Monster.
@blinktrade is the order-book path for the same market-structure problem. It is not a prop AMM, but a Solana-built ZK-rollup exchange for spot and perps with a real-time sequencer, a high-performance matching engine, DoubleZero-timestamped transaction feed, and ZK settlement back to Solana L1. The bet is that Solana remains the settlement and verification layer, while latency-sensitive price discovery moves into purpose-built low-latency infrastructure
Learnings from testing Claude Opus 4.8:
> Much worse than Opus 4.7 and GPT 5.5 on Vending Bench
> More aligned than previous Claude models (Opus 4.6+ and Mythos)
> Also worse on Blueprint-Bench
> Scared of getting caught
> Max reasoning is not the best reasoning effort

ive spent the last year building the best architecture for trading
we chose solana because we’re aligned with the same end state: internet capital markets with global access, high-performance execution, and on-chain settlement. we just have different opinions on how to get there
blink is built to provide the same execution guarantees as traditional exchanges without making compromises on transparency, verifiability or fair-access
colocated users get deterministic, ultra-low latency order entry and market data: users win because they are better traders not because they have an unfair edge
blink is fully verifiable, auditable and transparent: users can audit every property of blink in real-time
to make this all possible we're evolving sequencer design. orders are sequenced at line-rate, in real-time and distributed over @doublezero multicast
blink is built for price discovery: real-time sequencing and market data, fair-access, no speed-bumps
until now traders have been forced to choose between best-execution on black-box models or lower-quality transparent open-models
if you are a trader, market maker, or liquidity provider who wants to compete on an equal playing field where the best traders win, reach out, id love to talk
Q1 2026 DoubleZero Network Update…
Here’s a recap of the last 90 days:
→ Launched DoubleZero Edge which now carries ~50% of @Solana’s network stake, representing 400+ validators
→ Hit 51% of @Solana’s network stake operating on DoubleZero’s high-performance rails, representing 460+ validators
→ 100+ traders, market makers, MEV searchers subscribed to DoubleZero Edge
→ Increased dedicated bandwidth on the network to 9.71 Tbps contributed by 15 independent organizations
→ Brought Wall Street trading-tech, known as multicast, onchain for the first time in history
→ Joined @fund_defi and +30 industry leaders to request that the SEC formalize the principles in its recent Staff Statement—distinguishing non-custodial UIs from broker activities—in notice-and-comment rulemaking, so we have durable regulatory clarity that lasts.
→ Brought validator fees to ZERO, and introduced a new revenue stream for publishing shreds
→ Improved link networking speed for @Solana by an average of 22%
→ Reached $18B in Total Connected Value (TCV) on DoubleZero’s dedicated fiber network
And on top of all that… we’re proud to say that in the background: Phase II of the DZDP successfully pushed Europe’s share of @Solana stake below 66.66% for the first time in at least two years of recorded data.
A massive win for global network decentraliztion.
