“Overpaying for quality players, isn’t overpaying” you guys will just about justify anything. Are they any players we overpaid for at the time that didn’t look like a “quality” player?

We all know the answer to that, you guys have all developed amnesia and just conveniently forgot when we had the “Saudi” reputation. We turned into a club where players came to earn big and put their feet up, we turned into the cash cow of World football.

We’d let players go for free and go resign them for a €100m. INEOS basically gave us the best transfer window we’ve seen in years, not just because of the fee but by the performances of those players who wanted to play for us.

All of a sudden that same board has no idea what they are doing even though there’s like 8 weeks left in the window because they refused to give Anderson £300k a week and Fernandes £250k a week. Again this fanbase simply cannot be real people, it’s not possible.
