Sorry to jump in.

Maybe it was meant as a joke and that the intention wasn't to discredit him, but people don't always know the intention behind a joke, especially when the wording can come across differently.

Saying "this feels like nepotism" can easily sound like his opportunity is only because the company pushes him, rather than acknowledging the work he's put in to get there.

And tbh, we're already tired of people using "nepo" to reduce everything Kyehoon achieves to company privilege, so seeing fans use the same wording, even as a joke, can understandably rub people the wrong way 😭

There's nothing wrong with joking around, but when the context doesn't really support the joke, it can come across as shady rather than funny and end up hurting other fans or starting unnecessary comparisons.

So I think it's just better to be a little mindful of the wording, even when the intention is harmless.
