Every year, people ask whether it’s permissible to celebrate holidays like Halloween or Christmas.

But this question goes far beyond a simple fiqhi issue, it’s about instilling in our children the confidence to be different.

When we constantly seek to blend in, we’re not fostering belonging, we’re actually breeding an inferiority complex.

Teach them to stand tall in their identity.
Teach them to dare to be different.
Teach them to be unapologetically Muslim.
