Following the close of our Additional Public Offering on July 4, we extend our deepest appreciation to all the investors—individuals, institutions, and partners across the region—who placed their trust in Tropical Battery Company Limited. Your support has been invaluable.

Since our listing on the Jamaica Stock Exchange in 2020, we’ve grown our revenues from $1.9 billion to $5.6 billion as of FY2024—an impressive compound annual growth rate of over 30%. And we’re not slowing down. As outlined in our prospectus, we’re on track to exceed $7 billion in revenue by September 2025. This growth will soon begin flowing to the bottom line as we consolidate operations, reduce finance costs, and unlock synergies across our group.

While we were disappointed by the withdrawal of support from certain institutions at a sensitive moment, we take a long-term view, consistent with the investment philosophy of Warren Buffett—whom we greatly admire. Tropical Battery has been around for 75 years, weathering global shocks, local disruptions, and sector transformations. That’s over 300 quarters of resilience, adaptability, and steady brand-building—not all of them perfect, but all of them instructive.

Mistakes were made during this recent period of hypergrowth, and we addressed them transparently and decisively. Great businesses aren’t built in a straight line. They are shaped by vision, by values, and by sound investment decisions that may take time to fully bear fruit. Rose Batteries in California and Kaya Energy Group in the Dominican Republic are two such examples—exceptional companies with strategic relevance that are already adding value across 35+ export markets.

Tropical Battery today is a more diversified, future-ready business than ever before—with a strong Jamaican heritage, a respected international footprint, and a relentless commitment to delivering long-term shareholder value, innovation, and sustainability.

We are confident that the decisions we’ve made today will return us to dividend payments and strong profitability in the near term.
