. @GimmeGimmeDivas We’re taking my kids to their first-ever concert tonight, to see you! They’d LOVE to hear “You’ve Got a Friend.” Their messages:
M, 5yo: “May you please sing You’ve Got a Friend? I love you I’m a fan of you”
L, 8yo: “Can you play a good song that’s awesome?”
@StateFarm I posted this on Instagram too and got a comment from @statefarm asking me to email a specific email address to discuss the matter further. I did, and then got a reply that I should email *another* address, and then got ghosted again. Uggggggggh.
Hey @StateFarm , I made a claim on 11/28/23 and I have never spoken to our adjuster despite MANY requests for her or her supervisor to call. The best we got was an email where she told us our claim was denied and to ask if we wanted her to call us. We said yes. She never called.
@StateFarm And hey everyone else, don't ever ever ever ever EVER get State Farm insurance. Terrible coverage and even worse customer service is apparently a common problem.
@sS3ven777 @AMC700K@MasteroftheTDS@unusual_whales I totally agree that a breakdown by department or title would reveal more, and I'm not judging the situation without that info, but the calculation you did to show "the difference is not that big" isn't meaningful.
@sS3ven777 @AMC700K@MasteroftheTDS@unusual_whales ACKchually...
Say I have 100 employees, 26 women and 74 men. I fire 25 women and 25 men. The % of the total is the same for both (25%), but I disproportionately fired women.
The real comparison is 25/26 = 96% to 25/74 = 34%, which is like what the original tweet gave.
@GailGeorgeHend1@UnitedGeorgia@staceyabrams Excellent idea, since...
✅ Condoms and all other types of birth control are famously 100% effective.
✅ Everyone who ever has sex does so willingly and on their own terms.
✅ Everyone who wants a baby has a healthy pregnancy with no complications.
@GailGeorgeHend1 @NikkiMichelle84 @staceyabrams One issue (of many) with the law is that miscarriages--& the necessary treatment thereafter--might fall under suspicion as being intentional abortions. Someone going through the trauma of miscarriage shouldn't have to prove that it wasn't done on purpose.

@howie_hua This is so neat! I do use the "10s go down, 1s go up" trick for 9s but had never thought about how that connected to the finger trick.
The last part of your video got me thinking: can the physical finger trick be used beyond 9x10? It looks like it, but I'm not sure why. Thoughts?
@Grown_UpWoman @petermurff @ais2o2 What if this man is or was a "vagina owner" (🙄) who is presenting as male? In that case, he's doing precisely what you want him to do: choosing a bathroom based on his genitals at birth, just as you want a "former penis owner wearing a frock" in the men's room.
@TGoesh@howie_hua Trivial for terminating decimals, but 0.734343434... would have a denominator of 990, rather than 10^3 - 1 = 999, since 34 repeats but the 7 doesn't. Or am I misunderstanding (or wrong)?
But all [eventually] repeating decimals would work with denominators (10^m)(10^n - 1), yeah?
