Ralph Yarl should be home with his family, dreaming about his future. Instead, he is fighting for his life. Ralph was only trying to pick up his younger siblings, but was shot twice in the head after ringing the wrong doorbell.
Being Black is not a crime. Ralph deserves justice.
#Palestine🇵🇸 The brutality of the riot police inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque against peaceful and unarmed worshippers is condemned in the strongest terms. This heinous act is barbaric and shames the conscience of humanity. Every individual has the right to worship freely and without hindrance.

It’s shocking to know that @matiullahwesa ,an incredible champion of girls’ education has been arrested by the Taliban regime.
His only crime is his decades old peaceful campaign for the right of girls’ education. Taliban must #ReleaseMatiullahWesa
#ReleaseMatiullahWesa He is a hero, championing the right to education in many corners of Afghanistan. He must be released immediately & allowed to continue his essential work without fear.
Day : 532 🇦🇫
“ Women and girls ( in Afghanistan) are worried that they will be forgotten. We should not be accepting the excuses or justifications given by the Taliban. It’s time for world leaders to unite, to become one voice for Afghan women & girls.
Today, all universities reopened in Afghanistan after winter break, but ONLY for men.
These brave young women are peacefully protesting outside Kabul University against Taliban BAN on women going to university.
Let us amplify their voices!
Male university students have walked out of their exam in protest against Taliban’s decision to BAN female students from university education.
Several male professors have also resigned so far.
This must happen across the country NOW!
The Taliban claim to be Muslim but they forget: Education is the divine right of every Muslim, man or woman.
Depriving Afghan women of the right to go to university is shortsighted & destructive. This decision will be felt by all Afghans for generations.
Afghans deserve better.
There is no such thing as being “pro-life” while supporting laws that let children be shot in their schools, elders in grocery stores, worshippers in their houses of faith, survivors by abusers, or anyone in a crowded place.
It is an idolatry of violence. And it must end.
Completed the Women Leading the Way program with @MinervaBC, and what an incredible journey it has been🥳! This program has been a significant part of my growth as a leader & coach- giving me courage to follow my passion and honor my values. For that, I could not be more thankful
So freakin' proud of @ZoAbed for the presentation she did today with @MinervaBC for the program Women Leading the Way™ on the topic "Diving Deeper into Conscious Coaching" 😍

An explosion at a Sunni mosque in Kabul killed at least 10 and injured 20, a Taliban official said. Hundreds had gathered on the last Friday of Ramadan.

Unbelievable courage- Afghan girls protesting for their right to an education. They continue to show such bravery and resilience. We hear you #LetAfghanGirlsLearn
In Kabul, girls beyond grade 6 were not allowed to attend school today. The Education Ministry says it has not made a final decision about girls beyond grade 6.

I had one hope for today: that Afghan girls walking to school would not be sent back home. But the Taliban did not keep their promise. They will keep finding excuses to stop girls from learning – because they are afraid of educated girls and empowered women. #LetAfghanGirlsLearn
