It’s a snow globe here in Yarmouth, Maine (Coastal Cumberland county). Sitting right underneath the heavy stuff. Must be closing on a foot of snow by now and still adding up! Great Norlun trough event! #MEwx
A post from the expert! “Lun” in Norlun trough / trof. I’m on the coast in Yarmouth about 11 miles away from GYX. Excited to hear the possibility of some convection / thunder possible under the heavy snow band! Bare ground right now but that won’t last! #MEwx
Wow.. though not likely, the chance of isolated thunder along the Norlun trof axis trmw morning certainly not zero. Sounding, lapse rate at GYX 12z NAM model. @SurfSkiWeather
@ReedTimmerUSA 👀🌪️ I see the morning threat moved back west. I’ve got family 1.5 hours east of the Metroplex (near I-30). Will be eagerly watching from the coast of Maine.
@ryanhallyall Felt and heard it on the south west coast in Yarmouth, Maine (just north of Portland). Shook for a good 10-15 seconds. After the first few seconds realized it was a quake and stood in a doorframe. East coast quakes travel farther distances due to bedrock.
@EyeQFilms@Ask_Spectrum Sound keeps cutting off here too in Southern Maine for the AFC Divisional game. Spectrum should realize it’s happening for many - location doesn’t matter. Oh, the audio cuts off in the Spectrum iOS app as well.
