I want to address something that's been bothering me.
I fully respect everyone's right to express their concerns, frustrations, and opinions. However, we need to be mindful of the difference between what we know, what we perceive, and what we assume. Opinions and personal interpretations should never be presented as established facts.
Specifically, I want to address the ongoing speculation surrounding Latte's parents and their supposed involvement in his career opportunities.
Latte himself has publicly shared that his parents initially had reservations about his career choice. However, he also explained that once he became financially independent and was able to support himself, they became accepting of his decision. He has also spoken about the love he receives from his family. We cannot selectively take one part of what he's shared while disregarding the rest to support a particular narrative.
To be absolutely clear, claiming that LatteKim haven't received a lead series because of Latte's parents is a serious allegation. Unless you have credible, verifiable information supporting that claim, you should not be presenting it as fact. His parents' initial reservations about his career do not establish that they are influencing management's current decisions.
More importantly, none of what Latte has publicly shared establishes that his parents are responsible for his current career opportunities or management decisions. Those are separate matters, and without verified information, it's unfair to assign them responsibility for decisions we don't have full insight into.
Please respect the boundaries between an artist's professional life and his family's private life. Whatever Latte has chosen to share publicly about his family should not become an invitation for us to speculate further about their personal circumstances. Sharing a little of one's private life does not mean surrendering the right to privacy.
Both Latte and Kim are relatively private when it comes to their families, and I believe we should respect that. One thing they've made clear through what they've chosen to share is how much they love and value their families. That alone should be enough for us to understand why these boundaries matter.
If we genuinely love and support them, then we should not be creating or perpetuating narratives that could hurt the very people they love. Supporting someone doesn't give us the right to interfere in their personal lives or speak on matters we know very little about.
To my fellow LatteKim fans, I urge you to challenge these narratives when you encounter them, but please do so respectfully, without unnecessarily amplifying rumors or attacking the people spreading them. As frustrating as these conversations can be, let's remain civil. We can advocate for better opportunities for LatteKim, question management decisions, and express our disappointment without crossing personal boundaries or dragging their families into the discussion.
Let's be responsible with our words and remember that the people we're discussing are real people, with families and loved ones who deserve privacy and respect. If we love them, let's love them in a way that respects their boundaries, their choices, and the people who matter to them.
Our support for the artists should never come at the expense of the people they love. 🤍🌱✨
