@mattzollerseitz They had amazing technical tools, especially for sound. In the raw footage, dialogue between the guys was often muddied by crew, amps, room, etc. The Get Back tech team put hours of sample audio from each Beatle into an A.I. app which could then listen for and isolate each voice.
@mattzollerseitz Does plasticine qualify as animation? Kate and I just watched a bunch of Aardman Studio Wallace and Gromit shorts. They'd be near the top of my list of all time greats.
