@Rabocan89@Maplenormer@mcsquared34 Uh you do realize that if you go less extreme then my argument gets better and urs gets worse right? I was trying to give u the benefit to show the stretch case
Even if we taxed 100% of everything from all billionaires (around 9 trillion assuming you even could take it all would probably be like half that or less after the entire economy crashed from them being liquidated) we could barely reach first place. And that would only be for 1 year cause then the money is no longer there to tax. We just have significantly higher gdp in proportion to the others.
@_Shubha111@GloryOfmenn Resources are there for us to use to expand. If we didnt use any resources we might as well go back to caveman times and have nothing.
@sgtTheodore@_Credible_Hulk Nobody is managing at a national level, but you answered it yourself you said "based on consumption rates" thats what the OP was saying is that it effectively manages itself cross country due to factors like how often its consumed
You are thinking to shallow, acting as if 100% of the money that goes into amazon goes stays within. Think about all of the other opportunities that appeared to make money, now retailers can sell through amazon and they have much higher distribution as their products can reach all over the world. Just because one Avenue shutdown doesnt mean that was the end
@TomKonkol@theoilgod Exactly, also bro is so addicted to the dopamine thrill of waiting to see if he wins or loses i genuinely think he wouldnt want insider info as that defeats the whole purpose if he knows who is going to win
@theoilgod I think you gotta watch some of his videos and streams he genuinely isnt smart enough to be predicting this hes just been all in yoloing everything for years and has gone back to zero so many times. Just gets lucky sometimes.
@elaifresh@OmmmSucka Yea quite a bad worldview, unfortunate people only seem to not have any interest in enjoyment and only look for the worst in things.
The problem with his argument of "if something is able to be used for bad things then it shouldn't exist and anyone who helped create it should die." is that if you apply that in life we basically might as well get rid of everything, like you could go as far as if you work for a company that makes lighters, those can burn things which can cause buildings to burn and people to die. So what should we just not have those either, like where do we draw a line for good/bad, pretty much everything has a potential bad use
@nonlinearnodes@Jason@EddieSpanks Becuase the government wants to push for more things manufactured in the United States to help keep jobs and money within the US
I havent really seen any real evidence he ordered that other then just "unnamed sources" and "people familiar with the matter", also why do all these articles mention "Starlink" and not the governmental version "Starshield" that is owned by the government and used for these purposes.
Starlink itself has terms of not being used for these scenarios so if it was being used then its fair for SpaceX to shut that down.
Now if it does show with undeniable proof that Elon himself slowed it down with no warning then that is wrong.
