Cornelius Vanderbilt donated $1 million in 1873 to create Vanderbilt University. It's considered the second biggest act of charity in university history behind the refs in the second round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament
The exclamation point was Cale Jacobsen making it a point to give the ball to Sam Hoiberg to hold for the final seconds.
There was no doubt what Sam means to this program, but another awesome example.
The Big Ten Conference Coordinator of Officials, Terry Oglesby, had a reserved seat in Ann Arbor tonight for Nebraska vs Michigan.
He was not in his assigned seat the entire game, so I would guess that he was not in the arena.
"He will be responsible for recruiting, selecting, developing, evaluating and assigning officials..."
Feels like it would've been a good game for him to attend.
