A huge congratulations to Senior Khloe Ford who was named Class 7A Player of the Year, named to the Super All State Team, and was named the 2026 Miss Basketball by the Alabama Sports Writers Association! 🧡🖤 Big day for Big 5! We are so proud of you!
For most high school coach-player duos, sharing the USA Basketball stage is rare.
For @Johnson_HHS & @kristenw_2029 , it feels like an exciting, but natural continuation of a journey that began more than a decade ago.

If new #CUBuffs TE Coach Josh Niblett could bottle up his energy and passion and sell it, he might be a billionaire. But it isn’t just hot air coming out of his mouth. His resume as a head coach at the high school level is as impressive as they come: https://t.co/QoOF0YCCG0
Coach Krystle Johnson named MaxPreps National Coach of the Year Finalist! Proud of the love, leadership, and excellence she brings to Hoover Girls Basketball and @HooverHighBucs.

University of Houston coach Kelvin Sampson on players graduating: "All our kids graduate every year. Every year. Our graduation rate is probably over 90 percent, because I can count on one hand the ones who haven't graduated. . . Kingston (Flemings) will go to the NBA, he's not going to graduate. (NBA Lottery prospect) Chris (Cenac Jr.) won't graduate. But hopefully one day they will.
"But all the kids that stay here will graduate. You play four years here, you're going to graduate. And it's not because of me or our program. It's because of their mothers and fathers. I had a great college coach. He had nothing to do me graduating from college.
"That's my Mom and Daddy. "
Josh Niblett’s introduction as the new tight ends coach made it clear why Coach Prime brought him to Colorado. That’s a future college head coach.

Drew Mestemaker never started a varsity game at QB in high school, was a 0-star recruit, and decided to walk-on at North Texas.
The freshman now leads the country in passing, just threw for a school-record 608 yards, and has the Mean Green 7-1.
