so with a boundless heart, should one cherish all living beings - radiating kindness over the entire world, outwards and unbounded. ζ

hi, i'm aster, and today marks 5 years in this community!
i've always loved animals as long as i've had romantic feelings, and after an adolescence of shame and denial i finally learned to love and accept myself instead :3
zoo pride!!! 💙🤎💚
#zoosexuality#zoopride#zooproud
this is unironically how i feel when talking to my roommate about being a zoo. like, you actually don't think dogs are a hot? not even a little bit??? utterly unfathomable...
@Narugit right?? like, my brain immediately jumps to "oh, they're just saying that" because how can you not associate animals with being attractive?
grass is green, the sky is blue, the sun is hot, and dogs are too
i always find it funny when people try to use "zoophile" as an insult. "philia" (φιλία) was one of the four Ancient Greek words for love, meaning an affectionate regard or friendship, requiring virtue, equality, and familiarity.
like hell yeah, i do think animals are our equals!
@Narugit it's making fun of the chuds that use Greek letter terms like "alpha male" and "beta male" to describe their made-up hierarchy of masculinity. it's based on an outdated theory about wolf packs that the biologist who popularised it has spent his entire career disproving lol
