I agree, I'm here for the ride. I've been in OPTCG since OP02 and own quite a bit of sealed and singles. I just don't think it's a coincidence that pokemon cooled off a lot and that quick flip money rotated into OP. Sports card money is entering as well.
OP is a lot easier to pump as there is much smaller supply and big box retailers (Walmart,Target,Best Buy,etc.) don't get any stock of booster boxes and Bandai doesn't really print ancillary products to send to them either.
While this time around is a much bigger pump overall, the same thing happened to OPTCG after the OP05 release and it corrected hard 6 months later. I just see many similarities between then and now with how the market is performing and the attitude around it.
@ColdBloodShill Anyone who trades their coins while in this market downtrend while these cards are peaking in their own market cycle is an absolute idiot. This guy knows what he is doing here with this post. Lol
@Bluntz_Capital The demand is being artificially created by money rotation from people like urself and others. People are going to be in for a rude awakening when this shit corrects. Far too many people treating this as a lottery who don't know shit about OP or tcg in general
@ColdBloodShill saying op is gonna flip pokemon is like saying eth is gonna flip btc 😭😭😭 OP is likely near its market cycle peak. Too many people spewing shit like this and treating it as up only
