@thereisnobeth CV Wedgewood’s “30 Years War” is fun, incredibly whiggish, and more than a little dated. Really into personalities and more than a little Anglophilic.
Peter H Wilson’s “Thirty Years War: Europe’s Tragedy” is newer and also very good.
