Dainik Bhaskar reports a scam of ₹1,160 Cr by Madhya Pradesh govt.

Officials allegedly sold fortified govt rice bought at ₹4,000/quintal to ethanol plants for ₹2,320.

Ethanol plants allegedly resold it to rice mills for ₹2,800, and bought broken rice for ₹2,100 for ethanol production.

The mills then allegedly supplied the same fortified rice back to the govt as freshly milled stock while selling the original paddy in the open market.

They allegedly did this with 50 lakh quintals of govt rice!

Its been 15 months.

The blends have been increasing.

Earlier the damage was subtle and spontaneous.
Now that the blends have increased to E25 or E30.. damages are more correlated to causation.

Make E20 cheaper by 20rs with E0 at 100rs.. - will kill their profits and again' a lot maximum will choose to fill E0.

Do you find it interesting, that Govt do maintains two lines of Petrol in India.

One line where all of it is E20 contaminated.

But then there's a pure petrol line, which only opens to Nepal and Bhutan.

Two separate systems.
All petrol is blended with Ethanol and send to indian petrol pumps.

But a seprate system, where petrol is kept pure only sent to Nepal and Bhutan.
