To the otherside of the world in September... And yeah... Then I came back to Australia. I've barely even touched the Sims since I've been back. Madness. Well, no matter what I'm going to enjoy Get Famous. As soon as the thunder stops and I can turn on the computer again.

That moment when you log into twitter again after 5 months and realise it's been 5 months. My last tweet was July 1st and July 5th was when everything fell apart in real life. By the time we glued it back together again, at the end of Aug we had overseas visitors and I was going

So after a pretty crappy week, I've actually had time to come back to my computer. Things to do this week. Get the LP I want to make up on youtube and actually have a stream on twitch! I figure if I say it outloud (or on twitter) then it may actually happen.

I managed a good hour of playing seasons at the hospital today. I'd say Yay, but I barely got a chance to go through build and buy mode satisfactorially. Now for a bit of a marathon tonight... I wanna play!!! :)

So today, knowing that I'd be sitting in a hospital for Quite awhile today, I brought my laptop so that I could play Sims on he downtown. Turns out wards are different to the ER. Not much downtime. Been here an hour and haven't even had a chance to get my laptop out.

Guess who got Seasons working on their computer!!! Me!!! If it wasn't already gone midnight and if I didn't have to be somewhere tomorrow morning fairly early then I would be doing much more tonight than putting my saves back in and making sure I have my fave mods. Life is good!

So guess who decided that Seasons was the perfect way to end a crapy week...? Yep, I caved and brought it. Now I just have to see if I can get my computer accept it, took a week to get cats and dogs to work on it, so... Even if it doesn't I don't mind, because I have seasons now!

Today is comfort day. I went shopping and brought comfort food. I've been wearing comfy clothes and now am seriously considering buying Seasons for a comfort gaming session. My computer hates updates so I'll be out a game for about 12 hours if I do but... could be worth it.

So in my first outing (not to a hospital) in 4 days I went and brought a new microphone. I've tested it, and it is much better than the old one (which wasn't really one tbh) so now to get things up and running a bit better. Yay! I'm excited now.

I've decided in a 'making art imitate life' kinda way, that because all you lovely people let me rant on Twitter over the last couple of days that I'm going to turn into a lets play... Sort of. Well... You'll see soon enough. I'm excited.

He's in for at least the next few days, probably until Monday at the earliest. The first thing he said to me this afternoon is 'i thought you were going to hit that doc last night.' honestly, I thought I was going to too. For now, I think some Sims might be in order.

I just want to thank everyone for the kind messages, words, thoughts, prayers and advice over the last couple of days. I did not join this lovely community with sharing something like this in mind, but thank you for letting me vent. My grandad is... Okay. Well as okay as you can

Be when your 85 and in hospital. He was admitted last night which was an ordeal and a half featuring an asshole doc, and my mother and Aunt going absolutely nuclear on him and it having little to no effect. I've seen my grandad today and things are looking better.

@braesunny Hahah, that was cute. Your very sweet. I'm not complaining to complain, I'm just bored and worried and in a 'there's nothing I can do but sit here and rant' mindset. And it sucks. I love my grandad, but 36 hours in a hospital is testing my limits.

So at this point I've basically spent 36 hours at the hospital. I'm tired, full of caffeine and bored. Can't I play Sims instead?

@Simserlee Yeah, my 85 yr old grandfather who has multiple health issues (mostly relating to old age) had some stuff happening yesterday. Nothing new or unknown, just enough to scare us into taking him to the hospital in a better safe than sorry sort of way. Not fun, but mostly okay...ish.

Sigh! I've spent the whole day sitting in the hospital. It sucks! I haven't done anything I wanted to today. Sigh, again. I wonder if I can film a video tonight to upload for tomorrow morning... Probably not, but I'll sure give it a good try.

I wasn't going to buy seasons today as I really can't justify spending the money at the moment but after the day I've had, I think I just might.
