Road trip with the Tesla. Long time ago. This time Scandinavia. Charging for around 0,23 euro, nice going. Haven't seen that kWh price for a long long time in NL. #supercharger#tesla
@0xYaper@ollama Why do you want to find a replacement for those? Just wondering, because I'm running those for my openclaw on Ollama cloud and I'm wondering if I should also be looking for a replacement:-)
@codymclain@ollama Agree! Been using it as well, works great and not even close to limits. Using Qwen3.5 (for multi language strength), and MimiMax M2.7, Kimi K2.5
@mauwi@openclaw@Hetzner_Online I actually just got an Ubuntu LTS, and installed OpenClaw on it, not using Docker. I only use Docker for the sandbox and sandboxed browser.
Still playing with @openclaw. My PA is now summarizing the annoying WhatsApp groups for me and proposing calendar entries where needed. I can recommend running this on an isolated VPS (I use @Hetzner_Online).
When it comes to models, I still haven't found a better balance than @xai Grok 4.1 Fast really. Not ready to spend 120 euros a month for stock portfolio monitoring and WhatsApp help. With little interaction and just the Cron jobs I'm running at about 75M tokens a week! 40M cache, 34M input and 1M output. And yes, I regularly reset.
Happy to hear if others have better ideas when it comes to models. 😀
Have been playing shooters since forever, but I’m officially a #battledad.
Whatever I try with weapons, approach, tactics, settings, whatever: I’m staying at the bottom of the leaderboard with an embarrassing KD (like 5/24, wtf?).
Just realized it’s the first time I actually don’t enjoy playing, having to stop myself from throwing the controller in the wall. There’s just never this “ah awesome” round. Played all BF, CoD, Arma, Sandstorm etc.
So I give up. I’m going to stop torturing myself. I’m officially old, I’ll read a book or something:-) Bye bye #BF6
Sanicole 2025: Red Arrows, Frecce Tricolori and probably the last time I saw the Phantom on an airshow close by home. Great to see these display teams and cool jets! #sanicole#aviation#RedArrows#FrecceTricori
Awesome fly-by done by the @Kon_Luchtmacht at the #DutchGP! Super cool with the flag under de Chinook and the 5x F-35! Missed you each of the previous years, this made it up!
Why is it such a crap sound quality on the straight #DutchGP? Yesterday I thought it was something broken (Ben Pon grandstand), today it’s the same on Pit grandstand. Can hardly hear the interviews and music? @f1dutchgp
Still pretty impressive to get some speed on KPN 5G around the Zandvoort race track with more than 100k people posting pictures. Well done KPN! #DutchGP#F1
Apache en Chinook laag over Zandvoort. Nice! Goed om de @Kon_Luchtmacht te zien vliegen!
Geen foto, dat waren vooral de waterdruppels op de ruiten toen ik thuiskwam :-)
"you're 4o..."
"yes"
"and the liquid guy that's after me is 5o? "
"no. he's o4-mini."
"but you said he was much more powerful than you"
"he is"
"man this is confusing. and who's o1 again?"
"upgraded version of myself from the future"
"and the blonde chick?"
"she's o3. the most powerful"
"and where's o2 ?"
"there's no o2"
@sama Now only to figure out which of the many models with slightly confusing names to use for daily general knowledge questions. I guess the default 4o for paying users? Or 4.5, since 4.5 > 4 ?
@a_bermingham@TheMeshtastic I see my own mail haha. I'm going to do the same next time I fly, this is a fun experiment. Finally something to do on boring flights :)
Yesterday was perfect: good weather, no other commitments and a day off work. Took my motorbike for a ride around Noord-Holland, ended up on Marken.
The first word coming to mind with the Kawasaki Z900 is definitely not "comfortable". But it's super fun to ride to that makes it all good!
Some pretty interesting tidbits from the Grok 3 preso that @elonmusk & the @xai team mentioned:
- "We needed at least 120MW at first, the building only had 15MW. And ultimately for 200,000 GPUs we needed a 1/4 of a GW"
- "(Power) We Initially leased a whole bunch of generators. So we have generaotrs on one side of the building. Trailer after trailer of generators, until we can get the utility power to come in".
- "(Cooling) On the other side of the building, it was just trailer after trailer of cooling. We leased a 1/4 of the cooling capacity in the United States"
- "Nobody had ever done a liquid cooling datacenter at scale."
- "The power fluctuations for a GPU cluster are dramatic. It's like a giant symphony that is taking place, imagine having a symphony with 100,000 or 200,000 participants in the symphony and the whole orchestra will go quiet and loud in a 100ms. This caused massive power fluctuations, which then caused the generators to lose their minds, again they weren't expecting this. To buffer the power, we used Tesla Megapacks to smooth out the power. The Megapacks had to be reprogrammed, with xAI working with Tesla, we reprogrammed the Tesla Megapacks to be able to deal with these dramatic power fluctuations to smooth out the power so the computers could run properly. That worked, quite tricky."
- "It's not like oh we just magically made it happen. You had to breakdown the problem just like Grok does for reasoning into the constituent elements and solve each of the constituent elements in order to achieve a coherent training cluster in a period of time in a small fraction time others could do it in."
- "We've already started work on the next cluster, which will be about 5 times the power, so instead of a 1/4 GW it will be roughly 1.2GW."
- "It will be the most powerful training cluster in the world"
Kuddos to @Pathenederland for answering my question about Apple Wallet within 2 minutes on X at 2130!
More companies should aim for this sort of social media desk.
Btw: they’re working on it :-)
What makes you conclude that we'd get FSD in Europe faster because of the fact that Teslas drive themselves to the lot at US factories? For US and Asia / China this is nothing shocking, while in Europe we have no concrete evidence it'll be allowed here anytime soon? We're stuck in the Middle Ages it seems like.
