@mubix I had this happened to me years ago with a neglected godaddy account. They changed the region, charged a bunch of services, and added 2FA to at least delay my ability to undue the damage.

@Bites_to_Bits If you're talking about certifications, I found Azure better to start with. Microsoft's services and naming conventions were just more intuitive to me than Amazon's. @TechTrainerTim has great free content on his YouTube channel to study for the AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals exam.

What is everyone's favorite platform/approach to creating your own personal site for about me/resume/blogging purposes? Something about Wordpress just rubs me the wrong way. Should I go old school and self host static HTML?

@H3KTlC Agree, and that could apply to any industry. Integrity and professionalism are hard to quantify though, and I can't think of a way to apply that other than referrals and personal/networking relationships. Is there a better way? that doesn't end gatekeeping based on who you know?
