A builder from our world went and created an open source AI tool that is legitimately on par with OpenClaw.
Let that sit for a second.
What Peter did with @openclaw was nothing short of amazing. We're not taking anything away from that. We're just using the data. By the time OpenClaw hit its catalyst moment, Paperclip is projected to be at the same level or above in GitHub stars. These are the actual numbers of what's going on. The trajectory is historic.
What's been really cool is watching people from the traditional tech space start following @Wisemenmentors because of our coverage on Paperclip. It proves that high quality educational content is universal. We use the tool. We study the tool. We break it down. And the value you bring is always what people judge you by.
We're covering the first 84 days of this run. Every step.
Because it's rare to watch someone take everything they've learned and go build something that genuinely shifts the landscape in open source AI. This is a builder who's starting a new norm, and the fact that all sides of tech are paying attention tells you everything you need to know.
Everyone should be supporting Dot however they can. Use the product. Share the content. Show up. Moments like this don't happen too often.
.@dotta just quietly might have made himself the most important person in AI. Let me explain.
There are all these powerful AI tools out there right now. Claude is great at thinking through complex problems. Codex ships code fast. Gemini handles the creative side well. They're all getting better every month. But none of them work together. If you wanted to use all of them on one project you had to do everything yourself. Jumping between apps. Copying from one and pasting into another. You were the glue holding it all together.
Paperclip just changed that.
He launched something called Agent Companies. You go to https://t.co/mj3H7PCPHr, find a pre-built team that fits what you're trying to build, and download it with one command. A full team shows up ready to work. Every role already knows what to do and who it works with.
Let me show you what that actually looks like. Say you want to build a pizza delivery app that only serves college kids after midnight. You type that in. That's it. The CEO agent picks it up and breaks the whole project down. A product manager scopes the features. Engineers start building. The designer makes it look clean. QA tests everything and flags bugs. They're all passing work to each other without you directing every step. You just step in when something needs your approval.
Now here's the part that changes everything. Each agent on that team can run on a different AI platform. Your strategist on Claude because it reasons the best. Your engineer on Codex because it writes the fastest. Your designer on Gemini. You're pulling the strongest tool for every job. And as those platforms get better your whole team levels up with them.
If you've ever had an idea for something but didn't have the team or the money to hire one, this is what changes that.
Now zoom out and look at the chess board.
Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google are all spending billions trying to be the only AI you use. They're at war with each other. @dotta walked into the middle of that and said I'm not picking a side. I'm the room you all have to walk through.
Here's why he wins. He doesn't need any one of them to win. He needs all of them to keep getting better. And they will. They're pouring everything they have into it. The harder they compete, the better his system gets. Every improvement they make is an improvement to the teams running through Paperclip.
And while they're all competing, he's watching. When thousands of teams are running through his system, he sees which AI handles what the best. Which one writes the sharpest code. Which one thinks the clearest. Which one people keep choosing and which one keeps getting swapped out. That's information nobody else has. Not even the AI companies themselves. They know how their own tool performs. dotta sees how they all perform against each other.
Once people start building on that structure, you don't rip out the foundation after you've built the house on it.
That's not a feature update. That's the whole game.
