@AnthonyDiComo What will this now be the THIRD injury in his career that he has returned early from? Has he show once that it turned out positive? Only time he ever played well was full season #1 when teams didn’t have a scouting report on him & after he was humiliated being sent to the minors.

In a different direction, if the Mets continue on their disappointing free fall & decide to trade Peralta, Holmes, Raley, etc. will they more likely look to recoup high-end prospect talent or package these players w/ Manaea, Senga, Semien?

@CaseyJ_516 It’s a business. U act like this has never happened before within MLB. How often do we hear: Player X vetoed trade? That’s bc members of the FO leaked it & Player X still chose to nix it. This is like saying Eppler is a bad guy for using the phantom IL. DS got a good package back

@Patrick_am_I @AnthonyDiComo LOL, that was a temporary thing. Go look at the Mets last 3 years of Opening Day Rosters. All are 5 SPs and 8 RPs. No sign of 14 Ps used between 2023-2025

@WardyNYM Generally agree but it’s more likely that Pache gets sent to AAA > he makes the Mets. Yet he is hitting over .500. Why is that? Because he has options. Same w/ Melendez. Assuming Benge&Taylor make the team + the obvious 10, do u really think MJ had a chance over Tauchman & Pache?
