Former Illinois State Student (#GoRedbirds), fan of Texas Longhorns (#HookEm; #FortWorthHerd), gifted by God, 2 million miles... RT ๐ซend., opinions are my own.
I have had to block numerous people this morning after searching their profiles and finding plenty of nudity including exposed breasts and vaginas. Please do not follow me if you are posting that kind of stuff (unless it's the privys of cows, bulls, and steers). Thank you!
@MJAcquiredTaste@HEB If you had a disabled family member, who has difficulty breathing in a hot, crowded environment, would you rather make them wait in a checkout line for hours, and call them lazy if they don't, or would you rather have them be safe and comfortable? It's not always about laziness!
@ErinEpley@beinlibertarian There are other ways to fund those needs instead of ripping it out of the paycheck. Sales taxes, fuel taxes, and tolls are very effective at funding these needs, way more so than ripping it out of your paycheck.
The private sector does most of those things better anyway.
@beinlibertarian 25% cash back on your paycheck by elimination of income tax? I'm in.
Moving from Illinois to Texas saved me enough money each month in State Income Taxes to cover the monthly payment on a new full-sized pickup truck.

@Clint_wx Nah. That cell didn't even do anything to DFW, except for grounding a few flights and making a few drivers nervous.
The bigger concerns were to the north and west. Weatherford had a close call, while Springtown, Runaway Bay, and Mineral Wells were partially flattened.
We apologize for checkout delays due to a POS error that is preventing the register from opening. We are also actively being robbed which is further affecting our award winning customer service.
The robber has been patient, but declined our offer to receive his stolen money as store credit. Cashier Belinda graciously provided him with a disguise after learning he forgot to bring a ski mask.
@celinatruckstop There has been discussion at Pedro Spitting Centers about doing something similar to what Celina 52 has already accomplished.
Doors with fingerprint recognition technology and AI security cameras are the first step.
I'm going to need to raise $5,000 to $15,000 over the next 3 weeks due to the increasing price of everyday living, combined with mom's continually progressing disability.
The house may be for sale soon if this does not happen.
@USDOT 1. Foreign drivers. If they can't speak English at Level 4 proficiency, they're not allowed.
2. Truck stops. A minimum 100 spot standard must be set going forward. QT, Pilot, BP (TA/Petro/Thornton's), and Love's, this means YOU.
3. Trailers need frames that withstand blowouts.
While I'm continuing to face my own challenges related to retirement from trucking, going back to school, and losing half my income, let me be clear on this.
No one deserves to be murdered over speech. RIP Charlie Kirk.
@TxDOTFortWorth This totally screwed up the commutes of many in DFW and Weatherford. 20 wasn't much better than 30 during the afternoon rush, some like me were detoured as far away as Decatur by our navigation apps to get around this closure.
Thanks for keeping us informed.
@SlmnMANUTD I tried googling it. The problem is, Microsoft is using Windows as an advertising platform. And Google ain't giving me the facts. I need Microsoft to come clean, because they're the ones that are spreading fear with full screen ads telling me I have to buy a PC by October 14th.
@Microsoft I keep getting full screen ads implying that Windows 10 will be fully disabled on October 14th 2025.
Is this true, and short of buying a new PC, what OS do you recommend if a computer is too old to run Windows 11?
@EndWokeness Dropping bombs doesn't solve problems. Defunding the cartels is much more effective. And how do you defund them? You bring manufacturing back home.
It's time for General Mistakes (@GM) to step up and fix the ones they caused.
@TollTagNews your auto charge system doesn't work. I tried to turn it off, but it reactivates on its own, and now it keeps trying to Auto charge $40, and then suspends my card when my balance gets low.
There needs to be a way for me to turn auto charge off and keep it off.
@SlmnMANUTD We shall wait and see... But hopefully they don't come through with this threat and your Windows 10 PC will still work as normal, save for the fact that won't have security updates.
So @Microsoft I got a threatening full screen ad this morning saying my Windows 10 PCs will be disabled on October 14th, 2025, and that I must buy a new pc with Windows 11 before that date.
Is this true? #Windows10EndofSupport
@Microsoft is forcing people to buy brand new PCs, and forcing users of older models to consider dumping them in the landfill. This is very harmful for the environment, especially when dealing with laptops that have lithium ion batteries. And your "trade in" program is a joke.
