The sun does have a great effect on the earth's climate, that's why just a microscopic change in our position could freeze or burn the earth. So does CO2, which is why just a 20ppm increase right now would be detrimental

@SpaydMichael @londonabstract @geezabreak123 @CptBifhy @beatlebug69 @JeremyClarkson also, assuming you mean where our co2 levels should be, the co2 levels from before we started releasing astonishing levels of co2 were around 280ppm, and according to studies I linked to, we don't wanna cross 430ppm. we're currently at 412, an 11% increase since 2000 alone.
