@fopminui @MattWallace888 The new CNN footage shows that the helo never changed course. There is an option to fly the BlackHawk autonomously. Wondering if there was even a pilot onboard at this point, hence the lack of comms with ATC, and the lack of course correction.

@fopminui @MattWallace888 It may be fake, but the audio I heard today documented ATC asking the helo pilot to return to base at least 3 times. In addition to that, the jet has a massive light that’s visible from wherever this recording took place. Hard to imagine that the helo pilot couldn’t see them.

@DiedSuddenly_ It’s starting to add up. There is an option to fly the BlackHawk unmanned. Audio from ATC clearly articulates that a request was made 3 times to return to base, each time with no response. Guessing this helo didn’t have a pilot onboard that could correct course.

@veryvirology @kylenabecker @USBornNRaised This was my very first thought. Like, I get it’s a regional jet, so smaller than normal…. But it’s still a big object with lotsa lights. Plus, you’re a pilot if you’re flying the helo, so it isn’t like me up there trying to navigate. How quickly can a helo change direction?
