I've watched this like five times
What was Ronald doing? Did he think Shohei was going back to first and didn't bother throwing the ball in? Was he trying to bait him into going for 2nd thinking he could throw him out? I'm lost
The problem is that you can live with the goofy fielding shit when Ronald is tearing the cover off the ball.
When he's hitting .196/.259/.393 since the ASB....not so much.
Georgia is the only SEC team I am confident in saying will win ten regular season games. Doesn’t mean others can’t or won’t, but there are going to be some disappointed fanbases when their team goes 9-3 or 8-4.
Done it for years. He waits until prospects lose their value then move them or DFA. 1 out of 6 or 7 prospects will workout, but we need a GM and owners that are hungry to win championships.
Yes, the Braves have a good record, but they aren’t winning a playoff series with the pitching rotation they have. A healthy one with Schwel, Strider, etc……yeah maybe, but they aren’t healthy.
If you run into a GM with a ridiculous asking price in the morning, you ran into a GM with a ridiculous asking price.
If you run into 29 GMs with a ridiculous asking price 5 years in a row…
The Braves had the Profar money and more prospect capital than they've had as a contender in long time. They've had an obvious need to bolster the rotation since November. Thought for sure this was the year they would make a big splash. But instead, they've left plenty of room to second guess.
