Excited to share recent work with the
@yassinelab1 & @Isoformix that highlights a link between CSF apoE glycosylation and t-tau pathology. This research probes the involvement of sugar modifications on apoE in AD biomarker pathogenesis 🧠Read more here: https://t.co/UhXlgOnIPI
📣Our new paper, led by Victoria Tennant, sets tau cut points in a large cohort of Hispanic, and non-Hispanic Black and White participants using PI-2620 PET.
⭐️The ability of our tau cut points to distinguish cognitively impaired vs unimpaired people varied by ethnoracial group.
Looking forward to the AD/PD conference this coming week! #ADPD2024
I will be presenting my research on CSF ApoE glycosylation in predicting biochemical marker pathology in Alzheimer's Disease.
I'm excited to share this work as well as learn from the other sessions! @adpdnet
