Day 100 #100DaysOfCode !!!! What a journey! The past few months have really helped me settle into my new skin of being a coder, no longer feeling imposter syndrome. Not only that, but it has also set up a habit of regularly learning new things. I will not stop now I’m on a roll!
What an incredible day! Thanks for making it happen. I was really surprised how senior coders where taking the time to pair code with juniors. The best learning environment!
#gdcr2022@coderetreat in Leipzig is finished. Thanks to @codecentric for location & food. AND: thanks to all participants, it was great fun and everyone learned a lot today !👏👏👏
Day 99 #100DaysofCode- so awesome to have participated in the international #coderetreat day with fellow ex DCI student @ashhhleyhere and other amazingly helpful developers. We were working on Conway’s game of life !! Held at #codecentric Leipzig. Wow
Day 98 #100DaysOfCode - after fighting with a bit of troublesome code it is always reassuring to read of other coders troubles! https://t.co/BQZmqVRLhu
Day 97 #100DaysOfCode - naming code is surprisingly hard. I found this out on my end of course group project but wasn’t expecting it to be an issue with just me working on code. I had ‘add to cart’ and ‘checkout’ functions mixed up.
Day 96 #100DaysOfCode - moving code between projects sounds so easy but in practice it takes a long time to adapt. I’ve seen enough red lines for tonight, so it’s time to stop.
Day 95 #100DaysOfCode- an awesome mini hackathon today with 4 other coders from my course. 3 hours of intense problem solving on a small #mernstack game. I was really pleased how I approached the complicated task.
day90 #100DaysOfCode - I was so excited about my idea for a local online craft marketplace but when I told my boss on my #eCommerce internship he said it would never work. 100k to 1million € was his estimate for setting up a marketplace today! I’m still having fun coding it!
Day 88 #100DaysOfCode - listening to a debate about the difference between libraries and frameworks at the coding meetUp. Some say: the first is a tool and the latter a way of life.
Day 87 #100DaysOfCode - continuing with my new e-commerce site and I’m finding out tiny but vital things to know when setting up a mongoDB database. Like model naming that is converted to lowercase and plural! I was so chuffed when I realised and finally connected with database
Day 86 #100DaysOfCode -it’s so nice getting good at coding. Setting up #MERNstack projects is becoming automatic for me now. Awesome finally understanding what all the parts do and how they interact. Like solving a huge puzzle. Trying out a new e-commerce idea of mine.
Day 85 #100DaysOfCode - really impressed at the amazing final project of the latest graduates @DevhausLeipzig ! Ingenious idea to use Google books api to create a book sharing web app for the local Leipzig community.
