@Stellarated Hi Minister, I bought a truck a few months ago, and it’s been working in the mines but had a lot of breakdowns so no revenue yet for the business. Can I qualify for funding to buy a new horse and trailer ~R3M so I can run profitably?
I like this next generation of South African startup founders. Building in public comes naturally to them, showing the process is second nature, and they’re fearless enough to do the work themselves. Excited to see more.
@Neezyouttahere@Gert_LeNinja I have a horse so I’m talking from my own experience. If you’re kind enough to share how they got contracts, that would be appreciated

@claudeai We were very patient with Anthropic when we paid for Fable 5 only for it to be taken away days later - we paid for value we did not receive. Since its return, it’s already hit limits from small tasks. Please reset the Fable 5 limits @bcherny@alexalbert__@AnthropicAI
@nahcrof Tested different models and found DeepSeek V4 Pro and other non-US models to be less effective (more hallucination, more fluff, less factual and less instruction following), even Gemini 3 Flash was better for my application
@Tumi213 Drive the car under warranty for a year or two to get a good sense of its mechanical failures and repair costs. The noise, street cred and performance gain from the mods might not be worth it
@CiroDeSiena If they had financed the car, it would have been around R13 000 a month which is R468 000 after 3 years of payments - leaving a difference of R118 000. Might have gotten +R150 000 interest from investing the lump sum, which would attract tax
@Polymarket Companies had it all wrong - it makes no sense to compete on who uses the most tokens instead of who fixes the most problems using the least amount of tokens or value of output vs tokens used. They prioritised consumption instead of output
@PKTechSA Limiting South African innovation to the township is the reason we’re not globally competitive. Let’s build for the future and problems people don’t even know they have
@BoitumeloCaleb Why can’t you compare? Which local economy are they protecting by putting taxes on iPhones for example? In 2020 I bought an iPhone R8k cheaper from the US, https://t.co/quWcP9toCe. You should ask yourself who is benefiting from these import taxes and price disparity
