NEW: The White House just sent a scathing letter to the members of the press, calling out their inaccurate coverage of the Special Counsel’s report & lays out the facts, with page numbers from the report itself, for them. Glad the White House is calling out the media.
THE BIASED & EGREGIOUS SUPREME COURT WILL BE COMPLICIT IN HELPING TO HAVE CRIMINAL DON THE CON @DonaldTrump REINSTATED AS (P)RESIDENT EVIL IN THE WHITE HOUSE 😈 🤡
BREAKING NEWS FROM CNN:
Today's high-stakes hearing: The Supreme Court appears poised to back former President Donald Trump and fend off a blockbuster challenge to his eligibility to appear on Colorado’s ballot as a presidential candidate in 2024, a move that would extract the justices from one of the most politically fraught appeals in the court’s history.
What the justices said: The justices’ questions to the Colorado challengers suggested support for Trump in the dispute. Chief Justice John Roberts, a key vote to watch in the case, suggested one of Colorado's arguments is "at war" with the thrust of the 14th Amendment. Meanwhile, Justice Elena Kagan, a liberal who is being watched for signs of a possible compromise ruling, asked why a single state should be able to decide who should be on the ballot in a national election.
What’s at stake: While Colorado is the focus, the high court’s decision could have major ramifications in other states that have pending litigation to remove Trump from their 2024 ballots. If the court rules he can be kept off the ballot before Colorado’s March 5 primary, the state has said votes for him would not count.
Derek Muller, an election law expert at Notre Dame Law School who filed a neutral brief that offered analysis of key legal questions, said after the hearing that the justices are likely to put Donald Trump back on the ballot in Colorado.
“The justices seemed concerned that one state could affect the entire presidential election process, and that there needed to be some guidance from Congress before such an extraordinary measure could be taken,” Muller said. “The Court seemed inclined to let the political process play out.”
Muller – who hasn’t taken a position on Trump’s eligibility under the 14th Amendment – pointed out that several justices expressed unease with states implementing the ban without some sort of guidance from Congress.
“It's not surprising to see the justices express discomfort with the proposition that the United States Supreme Court should wade into a factual and legal mire like this,” Muller said. “But it was somewhat surprising that there seemed to be consensus around the theory that states could not do this without congressional legislation."
Former President Donald Trump delivered remarks Thursday after the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case on his presidential ballot eligibility.
“I thought it was very— it’s a very beautiful process. I hope that democracy in this country will continue,” he said at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida. “I thought the presentation today was a very good one. I think it was well received. I hope it was well received.”
THIS IS INFURIATING! The Republican Supreme Court is going to let Trump off the hook AGAIN…😡😡😡

.@RepMTG Such a 💯WASTE of taxpayer money 👆, just theatrics for attention-seeking. That's all these people offer us.
Greene's call to impeach him immediately is a farce. Impeachment isn't some political tool for disagreements. Even fellow Republicans like Tom McClintock admit that while they disagree with Mayorkas, it's not grounds for impeachment. It's about high crimes, not high disagreements.
Greene's claim about forcing a floor vote on impeaching Mayorkas? Also not the full story. Her motions were blocked and sent for investigation. It's not just a no-go, it's a no-support scenario.
Now, her use of "illegal invasion" to describe immigration? That’s fearmongering, plain and simple. Asylum seekers have legal rights to seek protection, it's not an invasion; it's a humanitarian situation.
About those 25 Governors with Texas? It's not a unanimous chorus of support. Sure, many Republican governors back some border control actions, but it's far from a blanket endorsement of every policy. It's complex, not a black-and-white allegiance.
Let's inject some reality here. Immigration needs smart, comprehensive solutions, not Greene's theatrics. The Biden administration, under Mayorkas, is mobilizing resources and refining strategies. They're not ignoring the problem; they're tackling it head-on.
Impeaching Mayorkas over policy differences? Policy debate is not a crime. We need less political posturing and more productive collaboration. Instead of these childish games, Republicans should be working with Democrats on permanent, effective solutions, like speeding up asylum processes as Biden suggested.
As for the Republican Congress? Their record speaks for itself, lots of noise, little action. They've been using immigration as a political weapon rather than contributing to real solutions. Under Biden, we've seen nearly $25 billion for border security, a proactive approach to a complex issue. It's not about inaction; it's about smart policy.
In short, Greene's statements? A mix of misinformation, fear tactics, and a stark ignorance of the real work being done. It's time to ditch the lies and get to real solutions. The clock's ticking on immigration reform, and we can't afford these distractions. #immigrationreform #BorderCrisis #texasbordercrisis
BREAKING: Democratic Congressman Jamie Raskin goes for Donald Trump’s jugular and demands that he return the $7.8 million his companies corruptly received from foreign governments while he was president.
This is perfect…
Taking the gloves off, Raskin sent a letter demanding the money be returned after a bombshell report from the House Oversight and Accountability Committee revealed that Trump used the White House to enrich his companies.
Twenty different foreign countries funneled money into Trump businesses — including China and Saudi Arabia, a blatant violation of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution.
"Your acceptance of foreign emoluments while in office was a stunning violation of the U.S. Constitution — and a profound betrayal of the interests of the United States and the trust of the American people," wrote Raskin.
Crucially, Raskin pointed out that the $7.8 million is just the tip of the iceberg because Republicans scuttled the investigation before it could uncover the full extent of the corruption.
"Critically, the report was unable to provide a full accounting of the total amount of foreign emoluments you accepted as President, and thus, was unable to determine precisely what you owe to the American people," Raskin wrote. "You spent years litigating against the Committee to prevent us from obtaining any documents regarding the foreign emoluments you received while in office."
Raskin put the problem in simple terms: these countries gave money to Trump's companies because they wanted "favors and specific policy outcomes from" Trump and his administration, many of which they obtained.
Returning the money is a good start, but justice will not be served until Trump is prosecuted for turning the White House into a personal moneymaking scam.
