It's been a minute since I "tweeted" on this app, but I am sharing this video. 20 years later, and it's still accurate.

This!!! Honestly, The Muppets have taught me more about diversity and humanity than most actual humans do.

[Frank Oz @TheFrankOzJam]

Regarding the election: Jim Henson's Muppet characters were of all different species & sizes & shapes & colors. They lived different lives and their personalities often clashed. Yet, they eventually accepted each other's  flaws as they worked together for the good of the show.

@TheFrankOzJam AMEN!!!!!

Aww man. 😞 The Backyardigans was (and still is) a really good show.
Rest in power and paradise.

[ToonHive @ToonHive]

Janice Burgess, the creator of ‘The Backyardigans’ has sadly passed away at the age of 72.

@TheMuppets ❤️❤️❤️

[Zuri Nkosi Terrell @zurint]

I just saw that episode of The Muppet Show last night.
May Glenda Jackson rest in power and paradise. ❤️

[The Muppets @TheMuppets]

Here’s to Glenda Jackson, legendary actress and scourge of the Seven Seas! In her unforgettable episode of The Muppet Show, she and her merry band of plundering pirates turned our theater into a ship and set out to sea. We’ll always treasure the time we spent with you, Glenda.

[Zuri Nkosi Terrell @zurint]

Definitely worth retweeting

[Gonzo @GonzotheGreat]

For weirdos like me, community is everything! Without a bunch of people around, how else will I know that what I'm doing is bizarre, out there, and uncouth? You can't spell "weird" without "we"!

[Zuri Nkosi Terrell @zurint]

Rest in power and paradise, Mr. Harry Belafonte. Thank you for teaching us how to "turn the world around."

[The Muppets @TheMuppets]

Harry Belafonte was one of our favorite guest stars on The Muppet Show and a great friend to The Muppets. In his work on and off the stage, he helped us all to see one another clearly and truly turned the world around. We will never forget you, Harry!
